Follow the outdoor stairs through the trees toward the dock and boathouse. Down by the water, the covered seating area offers a shaded place to pause, while the elevated waterfront deck opens up lovely views across the lake. Bring a book, watch the light move over the water, or simply enjoy a little unhurried conversation.



🛶 Included for lake adventures: 2 kids’ kayaks, 1 canoe, 1 sit-in kayak, and 2 paddleboards. Paddle out for a fresh perspective on Lake Gaston, then return to your favorite spot by the water. Follow the property-specific equipment instructions.



The wooded shoreline gives the property a relaxed, tucked-away feel. The route from the house to the waterfront includes a slope and multiple stairs—an important part of the layout to consider when planning your stay.

The open kitchen features a full-size range, refrigerator, dishwasher, generous counter space, and a breakfast counter. Set out snacks, prepare a favorite family recipe, or gather around the dining table for a leisurely meal.



Coffee drinkers have both a traditional drip coffee maker and a Keurig-style single-serve machine to choose from. Pack your favorite coffee and start the morning just the way you like it.

The home has four bedrooms. Inviting sleeping spaces include bedrooms with warm wood furnishings, a room with striped bedding, a bright twin-bed room beneath a sloped ceiling, and a cheerful green room with two twin beds. Each has its own character, giving the home a comfortable, lived-in warmth.



Bathroom highlights include a freestanding soaking tub, a double-sink vanity, and a glass-enclosed tiled shower. Additional bathrooms pictured in the home include tub-and-shower combinations. A washer and dryer add convenience during your stay.

The Social House is located in Henrico, North Carolina, on Lake Gaston. Enjoy the waterfront setting at home, then head out by car to explore the surrounding lake community, local dining, and area shops.

• Check-in: 4:00 PM | Check-out: 10:00 AM

• The home and waterfront route include stairs; review the photos carefully for your group’s mobility needs.

• Waterfront supervision is essential, especially for children.

• Early check-in and late checkout require advance approval and are unavailable when there is a same-day turnover.

• Grocery deliveries may access the property on arrival day after 3:30 PM. This delivery window does not change the 4:00 PM guest check-in time.
