Picture coffee in a rocking chair on the covered porch, looking out over the woods, then an evening around the fire pit and a long soak in the clawfoot tub. We've made this Hendersonville mountain cabin a cozy retreat, with vaulted ceilings and a stone fireplace. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, sleeps 4, and downtown and local wineries are about 15 minutes away.
The Space:
THE SPACE
We built this stay around slowing down in the North Carolina mountains. Inside, you'll walk into an open living area that feels airy under the vaulted ceilings, with warm wood finishes and large windows that bring the wooded views in. On cool evenings, you can settle in front of the stone fireplace, put on music through the sound system, or watch something on the TV. Upstairs, the loft nook is a quiet corner to curl up with a book, and we've left board games out for the whole group. A dedicated workspace and an in-unit washer and dryer make longer stays easy.
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS
- Bedroom 1: King bed
- Bedroom 2: Queen bed
- Bathroom 1: Full bathroom with a freestanding clawfoot soaking tub, perfect after a day on the trails
- Bathroom 2: Full bathroom
- Loft: A cozy sleeping nook with extra space. The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests in the two bedrooms. Bed linens and extra pillows and blankets are provided.
KITCHEN & DINING
Whoever is cooking stays part of the conversation here. The fully stocked kitchen has generous counter space, quality appliances, and bar seating. You'll find a stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer, plus cooking basics, dishes and silverware, and wine glasses for a bottle from a nearby winery. There's coffee and a coffee maker for slow mornings, and a dining table when you want to sit down together.
OUTDOORS
This is where the cabin really shines. You can start your morning with coffee in a rocking chair on the covered porch, then spend the evening in the hanging chairs or on the outdoor furniture, listening to the woods. The spacious fire pit area is ready for s'mores and stargazing, and there's a BBQ grill and a backyard for easy outdoor dinners. Everything is a private entrance away, so it feels like your own hideaway.
THE NEIGHBORHOOD
