Hotel Mestari is situated near Kamppi station which offers metro and long distance bus services as well as two tram stations. It is close enough to the central train station that you could walk - but you certainly don't need to. The room was nice, the bed is definitely on the soft side but was nevertheless comfortable and the breakfast was a good start to the day that left little to be desired. There is a central seating area on the first floor that opens up into an atrium. A nice touch is that you can get free filter coffee at the reception. If you told me to find negative points I'd be hard pressed to find any.

Schönes Hotel nahe dem Zentrum
Sehr gutes Hotel im Zentrum, schöne geräumige Zimmer, Bad auch ok, könnte etwas größer sein. Das Frühstück ist sehr umfangreich, einzig eine echte Kaffeemaschine fehlt. Ein zweiter Kritikpunkt ist, dass man die Fenster nicht öffnen kann und daher auch die Klimaanlage den ganzen Tag und die ganze Nacht läuft. Wir haben uns dennoch sehr wohlgefühlt und die Lage des Hotels nahe dem Zentrum ist auch sehr gut.

Das Hotel ist sehr stylisch und hat eine sehr gute Anbindung zum Öpnv um überall hin zu kommen . Die Zimmer mit Balkon sind etwas klein haben aber eine große Terrasse. Das Frühstück hat auch eine gute Auswahl , vor allem lecker frisches Brot . Auf jeden Fall ist es eine sehr gute Empfehlung für Helsinki

We had a room that overlooked the inside of the hotel (the dining area, which was unique, but you definitely need to remember to close those curtains otherwise everyone can see into your room. The curtains were blackout so no issue with light or noise. The decor was very industrial, which we loved and the room very comfortable. The room was compact, but suited us for what we needed. There is no desk if that is important to you. The bathroom was great! Huge shower and no mould, etc. The breakfast was fantastic - tacos and churros were unique options as well as the usual hot and cold breakfast options you'd expect. We also had an evening meal and cake from the cafe and these were delicious too. Our only complaints were around the servicing of the room. They did not replace tea and milk in the room each day so we had to take them from breakfast. They also didn't replace our cups - they took them away, but didn't leave replacements, so again, a trip to reception to ask for more. They also didn't wipe the surfaces in the room as there were still ring marks from drinks. If not for this, we'd have happily given 5 stars.
