Welcome to our lovely house on the Little Red River at Heber Springs, AR. Watch the fog rolling on the cool river burn off as the sun comes over the trees while you enjoy your morning coffee. Watch the trout jump, the otters milling along the banks, and the local Canadian geese come floating by in the clear blue green water. Catch rainbow, brook and brown trout right off our private dock or drop a kayak into the river from the dock and float to Barnett Park. Cow Shoals public river access is just half a mile up the road where you can wade into the shoals and fly fish for trout!
Love the lake life too? You'll have the best of both the river and the lake life if you stay with us. Bring your ski or pontoon boat to use on one of Arkansas' finest lakes, Greer's Ferry Lake. Use our paved circle drive for easy access in and out to any of the public boat ramps or the three local marinas that are just a few minutes away. We even have a 50 amp electric outlet and water hookups for your RV!
This luxury property features 2 full sized bedrooms with beautiful river views. The master bedroom features a king bed, screened porch, and master bath with a beautiful tub and walk in shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed, bathroom with shower, and a walkout porch. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper. Down below the main floor of the house you'll find the Guide Shack. It's a great spot for older teens/adults if you need more space. There is a twin over full bunk bed, a sitting area with a reclining couch and leather chairs, and a six top poker table. It’s the perfect spot for watching the game or playing cards!
There's lots of outdoor space to enjoy! There is a large covered deck just off the main living area of the house where you can relax and enjoy the river views or cook dinner out on the grill. Down below there is a large stone sitting area with a stone picnic table at the rivers edge and a pathway to the dock.
You'll find all the necessary amenities like a fully stocked kitchen, Keurig coffee maker, a gas grill on the deck, WiFi and tv's with YouTube TV, Netflx, Prime and more, a washer and dryer, hair dryers, patio chairs and table on the deck, Adirondack chairs around the fire pit, as well as chairs and a cleaning station on the dock. We have also prepared a detailed Guestbook listing all the local activities and attractions, great local places to eat, trout docks to rent a boat or kayak, local marinas and golf so you can easily find fun things to do in the area. Never fished for trout? No worries! There are several guides in the area for the river and the lake!
We provide a stocked coffee bar, firewood and fire starters in season, gas for the grill, towels and toiletries for the bathrooms and tide pods and dryer sheets for the washer and dryer.
