Rustic Pines Lodge - Bike/ATV/Ski From Driveway!

Welcome to Rustic Pines Lodge (previously known as Red Fox Loft), nestled in a tranquil woodland setting 5 miles from downtown Hayward. This charming retreat offers easy access to outdoor activities—whether you prefer skiing or biking right from your doorstep on private trails leading to the Birkie, or exploring nearby ATV and snowmobile trails half a mile away from the property.
The space
Rustic Pines Lodge is a charming log home that masterfully combines an open-concept main living area with intimate, cozy bedrooms and a relaxing downstairs sitting area.

The lodge offers three well-appointed sleeping areas across its levels:

Downstairs: A queen bed is paired with a full bathroom featuring a stand-up shower, conveniently located just across the hall.
Main Floor: Another queen bed, along with a bathroom equipped with a stand up shower and tub combination.
Loft: Ascend the stairs to discover a loft that includes a queen bed and a single daybed, perfect for extra guests or children.
Living Spaces: The kitchen is fully stocked and connects seamlessly with the dining and living areas, making it ideal for engaging conversations during meal preparation. Both living rooms are ideal for lounging, while the outdoor seating areas provide increased opportunity to socialize.

Climate Control: For temperature regulation, the lodge relies on a window unit and a floor unit AC system. These units are strategically placed to effectively cover the main floor and loft. Even during warm spells with outside temperatures, the indoor climate remains comfortable, generally around 74 degrees, provided both units are consistently used.

Location & Surroundings: A vehicle is necessary to access Rustic Pines Lodge and explore the nearby attractions. The tranquil Northwoods neighborhood offers a scenic trail intersecting with the driveway for leisurely walks.
Note: Neighboring property's are undergoing tree debris removal due to recent logging, but at Rustic Pines Lodge the debris is mostly situated in the woods and will decompose naturally to support ecosystem regrowth. This shouldn't significantly impact your stay but does explain the altered landscape.


Other things to note
Guests are supplied with kitchen and bath towels, along with shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper, and paper towel.

One well-behaved cat or dog is welcome per visit, for an additional $100 pet fee. The standard aggressive dog breeds are not allowed under any circumstances. Owners must clean up after their animals outdoors. Pets are not allowed on the furniture.
