We loved the view of the lale and the big windows. A very comfortable, cozy, clean and nicely appropriated up north cabin. The beds were very comfortable with nice sheets and blankets. The kitchen was well supplied with coffee makers, cooking pans, utensils and all you needed for meal prep. We enjoyed the open kichen and living area.

The cabin was impeccable! Definitely the nicest that we have stayed in and so close to downtown Hayward. Spacious and cozy at the same time. Everything you could need or want for a weekend or week away. Right on the water which was very nice since we do ice fish a lot. The beds were comfortable and the furniture fit our family well. We will definitely be staying here again! Thank you Liz!

Host was very accommodating. We came to go snowmobiling and were able to get to the trailers with ease by entering the lake from the boat launch. The cabin beds were very comfortable. Everything was clean and easy to get settled at this cabin. Highly recommend and I am sure it is an incredible cabin when the lake is open for summer activities!

We truly can’t say enough about this place—it was BEYOND well stocked. I’ve stayed in many rentals, and this one absolutely gets the gold medal for having everything you could possibly need. The views are breathtaking. We stayed in January and only booked two nights, and our biggest regret was not staying three—if you’ve booked two, do yourself a favor and add a third. January is a win-win if you’re looking for peace and seclusion.Communication prior to our stay was 5-star. Directions and all stay information were clear, easy, and well organized. The owner was wonderful and incredibly easy to work with.The home was spotless upon arrival—truly impressively clean. One very minor suggestion (purely personal preference) would be to consider natural air fresheners instead of multiple plug-ins. The space was already extremely clean, and the natural cabin setting really lends itself to lighter, more natural scents.The space itself was warm, calming, and incredibly relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Third time renting here, property is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The only teeny, tiny “I hate to mention” issue was the wine bottle opener was difficult to use. Otherwise, all was wonderful!

The stay was simply amazing. The cabin was roomy, comfortable, extremely clean, with an amazing view of the lake. The deck, which faces west, was perfect for watching sunsets. The dock was easily accessible for our boat. The cabin is everything that is advertised.

Excellent overall, just as described in listing and other reviews. Great communication. We loved the deck, used the kayaks and grill and enjoyed the shared community park/picnic space. Neighboring properties are close but everyone was friendly, respectful, and the trees and lake still felt secluded.

Such a fun cabin. Beautiful lake. It was just perfect. Kids absolutely loved it. Will definitely be back. The Maui pad was such a nice treat for the kids and they loved the kayaks.

The cabin was well appointed and had everything you could hope for. We’ve stayed at other cabins and by far this had the most. From kayaks, lily pad and nearby sandy beach, it was perfect. We had 3 boys under 4 with us and they had a great time as well. Liz was very responsive the few times we needed her. The dock was great for fishing off and docking the boat. The lake was nice and sandy and clear. As for nearby attractions Hayward has a lot. The freshwater fishing museum was a “can’t miss”

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It has everything you could possibly need— for meal preparation, outdoor enjoyment and staying occupied indoors. The Pickleball court is fantastic! We rent a boat from the local marina and use the dock on the property. Elizabeth is an excellent communicator and rep replies quickly to messages. We will be back again next year!

It was the perfect getaway with family!!! We had 3 teenage boys that thought the loft was their own little apartment!! The lake is just wonderful....such a gorgeous view from the deck and even sitting in the living room made you feel you were outside. Crystal clear water for swimming and kayaking and the kids caught a lot of fish! The beds were oh so comfortable and the location was terrific. Absolutely nothing wrong with the gem.

Worthy of 10 Stars!

We arrived mid afternoon on Saturday 7/12. Check in was seamless, code for entrance was sent the week before. Cabin was spotless up and down. Beautiful bedrooms with very comfy beds. View of the lake from the cabin and deck were perfect! Very well equipped kitchen, with tons of extras. Liz was wonderful to communicate with and very quick to respond to all questions and concerns. Very nice, sturdy dock with plenty of room for a 24' pontoon boat. Would give the cabin, and Liz more stars if possible. We have stayed at several properties on Round Lake. This was easily the nicest! We're looking forward to our next stay.

Prefect mini family vacation

Lake cabin and location on Round Lake was perfect. Mini family vacation and comfortably accommodated 7 adults. Had everything and more than we required. Liz is great at communication and ensures that you have all necessary information and quick to respond. We even hired a pontoon for a day and just loved exploring the lake. We all spent endless time in the water and chilling in the lake. Would love to book again.

Perfect Slice of Lake Life

This cabin was wonderfully decorated and had tons of wonderful touches. My friends and I enjoyed lots of time on the deck overlooking the lake. There were lots of touches of home, extra toiletries in every bathroom. And Liz was very accommodating for our boat trailer parking. I would highly highly recommend anyone to rent here if they are looking for a weekend retreat in a place that feels like home.
