Cabin at Round Lake
Spacious and clean cabin in a remote/quiet location yet very close to activities. Other reviewers have mentioned that neighbors are close due to being a condo setting - we really didn’t feel that way or at least not that they were too close for us to enjoy it. It was very quiet and those we encountered were friendly, plenty of room to park a truck and a mid sized SUV. Not much of a back yard however there is a nice shared yard area with playground equipment (nice for busy kiddos!!) and bball/tennis court. The dock was nice for fishing. Deck furniture was nice but lots of spider webs and leaves/tree debris so we didn’t sit out there, we did however use the grill which was great to have. Internet worked well and streaming services were a plus. We could only find 3 washcloths and there were 5 of us that stayed there - so that made things a little interesting - just something to keep in mind for future guests. Plenty of towels and bedding though and beds were comfortable. Otherwise as other reviewers would have said, Liz is very responsive and thorough - she really did think of everything. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect Girl’s Weekend Getaway
I had the privilege of cooking, waiting on, and spoiling my Daughters and their friends for Girl’s Weekend! Liz knows exactly what guests want/need while on vacation and it shows in the amenities and details from the toiletries, plush towels, comfy beds, to life jackets and kayaks to enjoy the crystal clear water of Round Lake. The Timberlane Cabin is spacious, Beautifully decorated, and has every amenity you need to have an Amazing vacation or getaway! The Girls had an Amazingly Fun Girl’s Weekend!!! Thank you Liz! Log home at the lake
Great location on Round Lake ! Host was great to work with ! We really enjoyed our stay ! The kitchen had everything we needed - dishes were nice and pots and pans new! We did have very hard time reaching the glasses that were all high up on the 3 rd shelf! Im 5’5”” and spouse 5’11””! Would be nice to have brighter lighting for downstairs bedrooms and another nightstand and dresser for clothes. Had to live out of suitcases and we enjoy unpacking and having a place to unpack. Host is lovely and we would definitely visit again! Thank you!

Perfect vacation
We loved our week at the cabin on Round Lake! Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, the lake was ideal for swimming and kayaking. We took advantage of the pickleball court right outside our door and the deck was great for lazy afternoons reading. Ideal location so close to Hayward too.

Nice location on Round Lake
Nice location, cute cabin. We were quite surprised how close the neighboring cabins are, but it was pretty quiet and peaceful our entire stay, which we appreciated. Lots of overgrowth blocking the view of the lake, more so than pictured. Trees need some base trimming and we could have seen more of the lake and would have used the deck a lot more. Towels were soft, bedding comfortable. Lighting was really dark in bedrooms and bathrooms, but dishes, kitchens, surfaces were all nice and clean. There was a blue kayak on the beach that we weren’t sure belonged to the property or not, it looked like it may have washed up (was not upside down) so we weren’t sure if it was ours to use or not (maybe last renters left it there?). We did notice two other kayaks on the side of the cabin but we rented a pontoon so didn’t use them. We appreciated Liz’s suggestion to rent at Round Lake Marina. Not crazy about the dog that runs around off-leash, as we have a family member afraid of large dogs, but it wasn’t a big deal. Nice swimming, kids had fun even though we had chilly weather for July. Some small smooth rocks right up by the shore, then it was sandy and no visible weeds. Caught several fish off the dock! Would stay again.

Perfect up north cabin on a lake experience
It’s a beautiful location on big round lake with a great deck and dock. Plenty of space in the cabin to relax, play games and eat. Very clean. Very up north cabin look.

Beautiful Cabin
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Swimming, pickle all, bonfire, swing set, tennis, volleyball. You have it all here! Liz was also fantastic to deal with. The loft is spacious with it’s own bathroom and 2 queen beds that had a closed off wall and door. This worked very well for 2 families to have their own space and sleep great! The amenities can’t be beat. I don’t think I’ve seen a more well stocked rental. The only downfall is if you do plan to bring a boat there is no on site parking for your trailer, but Liz had a place for you to park it but it’s a bit far. We managed and it ended up working out just fine. Just don’t try to bring the trailer into the association as it is very difficult to back out as there is no room to turn around. Other than that, A+ stay. The lake is beautiful and the water is nice and clean.

Weekend on Round Lake
We had a large family gathering at our cabin on Round Lake and rented this as a second cabin for overflow of all of our guests. It worked out perfectly. It is a great place with beautiful southerly views of the lake. It has easy access and all necessary amenities. We really love this part of the lake.

Winter sports from Hayward

Wonderful Cabin!!!!
We had our annual sibling family reunion at this cabin. We rated it as the best we've been to in the past 5 years:-) The view was beautiful, the cabin was extremely well equipped, the host was very accommodating, and we really couldn't have asked for more:-)

Nice Cabin
Cabin was nice, photos are accurate. Dock is nice and the place had what we needed to eat, grill out and relax. What I wish I would have paid more attention to was the early check out/cleaning: 9AM. For a rather high cleaning fee the cleaning required of us was a bit excessive. We didn't make much of a mess but we spent what little time we had in the morning together, cleaning. Something to be aware of.

Hi Katherine, thank you for your nice review. I ask all of my guests to put their dishes in dishwasher; on sanitize cycle, this takes a long time, and part of Covid protocol. I don’t ask to make beds, and used towels in a pile. I’m sorry you felt you needed to do more than the dishes, and put used towels in a pile.. If you would have requested to check out at 11:00, I would not have a problem with this. I’m sorry for any misunderstanding. I’m glad you enjoyed the cabin!

The perfect cabin
A very clean cabin with a beautiful view. The host is thorough with communication and accommodating when needed. The cabin has the perfect set up for friends, family or any group you travel with. All the necessities were available in the cabin plus more! Easy route to town from the cabin. Highly recommend this cabin!!

Great Getaway
We loved out time at the cabin. The location is lovely, the cabin is clean and welcoming. Our kids really enjoyed playing on the tennis and volleyball courts. We had the best time renting a pontoon from Round Lake Marina and pulled the boat right up for lunch. I highly recommend a stay here.

Great trip
This was the best stocked property rental that I have stay at in a long time. She thought of everything, coffee, soap, paper towels, toothpaste, shampoo, the list goes on. Fabulous location on Round Lake with a small sandy beach nearby. That was a real plus with a one year old and a 3 year old. Elizabeth did a great job communicating with us, quick to answer our questions and offer information she thought would be helpful. I highly recommend this property. Marilla

Beautiful Location
This is a lovely and spacious home with an outstanding view on an exceptionally clear (and large) lake. The house is well stocked with anything you might need. We all commented on the comfort of the beds, which might seem weird to comment on, but they were so comfortable and made our vacation even more restful! Easy drive into town for anything you might want to do. Liz was a great communicator throughout the process. We would go back in a heartbeat...this home is a gem!

Cozy and quiet
We were two father and sons on a fishing trip of Round Lake. We rented a pontoon from Round Lake Marina. The house was super clean and had new furnishings. It in fact had everything from K cups to creamer to toothpaste and soap. The only thing missing was a washer and dryer. The fishing was pretty good in Musky Bay as we caught a Northern or Musky every day of our week long trip. The communication with the property owner was awesome. She even sent a calendar of events for the area. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend staying here!!!

Summary
The house was very nice. Very well kept up and comfy. If there was a downside I would say parking was a bit of a challenge. Not a lot of space to park cars and trailers. Overall a very nice place and would recommend.

Hayward holiday cabin
We were very pleased with all aspects of renting the cabin. We stayed 3 nights with family over the holidays and enjoyed some great cross country skiing. Liz was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. The cabin was exactly as listed and very well stocked with all cooking needs and supplies. The beds were new and comfortable. The entire layout of the cabin is very well thought out and functional. The view from the cabin and the cabin itself is beautiful. We would be happy to stay here again.

Very comfortable & clean cabin
Everything about this cabin was as-expected aside from the location of the other cabins in the condo association. The cabins are a vehicle widths apart. If you’re looking for that, great! If you’re looking for more personal space, own fire pit, more parking, etc. it isn’t the right fit. However the cabin itself and view are wonderful. It came with everything you’d need and more, great attention to detail! Very clean and organized!

Fall getaway with family
This cabin is adorable and on such a beautiful setting. Our family enjoyed hiking amidst incredible fall colors, sitting by the fire, playing board games, watching movies, etc. Our boys even fished and did a bit of late season kayaking. And, they loved playing at the communal volleyball court. We saw Loons, deer, woodpeckers, and so much more. And, Liz was a spectacular host. From start to finish, she made sure we had everything we needed. She has thought of everything!
