Great Family Holiday.
I hve just enjoyed a week staying in a 3 bedroom caravan with my 3 young kids. The site is a nice size for kids as it is not too big. The pool area is lovely and the pool was a nice temperature The bar / restaurant is next to the pool. We only had drinks so i can't say hoe the food is. Nice play area for kids and a little arcade. Well shocked shop for thr essentials. The caretaker Kevin is very welcoming and helpful This site is located about 10 minutes drive from Hayle you need a car to visit the beaches easily. I recommend this site and would visit again.

Jubilee short break
Lovely holiday park, always clean and well presented. The pool area is great and the kids love it. The only frustration was the limited pool opening hours (10am-5.30pm), when we stayed previously the pool was open earlier and later in the day allowing you to have a swim before going out for the day or when you return. Apart from that i can't fault the place and we will return.

Very unusual review its a wooden lodge that are generally made from wood. It is now 20 years old with the same wood and only generally requires carpets and furniture during a refurb so I would say that its a lot more eco friendly that the lodges you buy now that are mostly plastic.

Cleaning was done to a very poor standard. Dropped tv control behind sofa and all matter of dirt and debris was behind there. Toilet had a disgusting smell and extractor was full of dust and cob webs. Toilet seats had stains. Park itself was nice. Friendly staff and ok amenities. Isolated location meant miles from anywhere such as a shop. Need to be prepared to go here as shop onsite very limited.

The park itself is great with good facilities like Bar, play area for kids. But the Lancaster Holiday Home we booked was far from comfortable. It was not the same as shown in the pictures and not cleaned. We complained it at the reception and they came but nothing was done. I rang the reception before coming to check what all is provided so we can bring accordingly, I was told we only need to bring towels and rest everything is there. On our arrival, there was nothing. No toilet roll, no kitchen roll, no handwash, no washing up liquid, no hoover. The holiday home itself is a bit tricky with the kids with the corridor very congested and only one person can squeeze through it at any one point. Overall not happy and would not be staying at this park again.

We are very happy to receive feedback even bad feedback. However we do not appreciate lies You rang to ask what was included in unit and we did say the van was fully equipt but you need to bring towels, we also provided toilet roll on your arrival. You are the first to expect use to provide hand wash and washing up liquid, as far as we are aware everyone would bring their own preferred soaps etc, Also there is a hoover in every van including yours. Also you called upon arrival to say the van was. not cleaned so we sent over our head cleaner that checked your van prior to arrival and she asked you to show her what was not cleaned and get it done to your satisfaction but you could not find anything. As for the corridors on holiday home leading to bedrooms you are correct t and they are not very wide but that is not something we can change. Our website clearly shows a plan layout of the Lancaster.

Calloose was a pleasant stay and staff is very nice. On site restaurant is also very good. Only minor thing we missed in holiday home was dish washing liquid. It wasn’t stocked in onsite shop as well which triggered a unwanted trip for us😊. Would definitely visit again.

Great little Holiday Park, good restaurant and bar. Communal toilet / shower block was clean and spacious. Swimming pool for the kids was also very good, accommodation was clean and perfect for our party. Perfectly located to explore Cornwall and its wonderful beaches & attractions, would have no hesitation in booking again in the future.

We stayed in PV 7, a static caravan. We arrived early and were told our caravan wouldn't be ready until 4pm, the official check in time however it wasn't ready until 4.30pm. No apology for the delay despite knowing we were waiting a while to check in. When we entered our caravan, we found it hadn't been cleaned well. The disappointing thing was it just needed a basic wipe down with soapy water and disinfectant. The dishes were not washed properly so we washed all the ones we were going to use before we used them. The caravan looks fairly new so it's sad that it's not maintained to best possible standard. After giving the caravan a quick going over, it was fine. It has all the facilities a family needs for a short break. The site has a pool which was clean and we used it once during our stay. The restaurant on site didn't offer a great selection and was pricey for what it was, so we didn't use it. The play area is great for young children. Overall, it's a nice site but could be improved by having facilities such as a coffee shop on site and improved selection at the restaurant.

Tamar Lodge
Great stay at one of the Tamar lodges, which has been updated with modern decor and flooring. The mattresses were very comfortable. I would certainly go back there again to stay in the future. Lovely site, not too big, friendly and clean.

Check-in was quick and easy. The caravan we stayed in was modern and clean. We ate in the restaurant on the first night, and whilst it was the usual type of menu, it was cooked to a high standard. We didn't use any of the on site facilities as it was a short trip to visit family/day trips, but wpuld certainly book here again 👍

Calloose is a lovely little park. Very intimate and pleasing if you don’t like the big crowds. My only criticism would be that majority of staff are really quite rude and most unwelcoming. At times it almost seemed that we was an inconvenience to them. Restaurant food was nice but certainly not worth the price tag put on them. £13 for a pizza with a shop bought base and £6 for a side of 3 chicken wings.

Hi thanks for the review. Disappointed you felt all the staff were rude as it does not match everyone else feedback, I wish you would have spoken to myself or jo before you felt you needed to put this review on. We do not have pizza for £13 they are between £9 and £11 depending on toppings. Also you get to see the price before your order so there is also a choice wether you wish to order or not.

We stayed 2 nights at calloose after a 4 night stay at haven with the grandchildren the caravan was was immaculate much cleaner than the haven one.The site is in the middle of nowhere and was so peaceful.

Check in was simple and fast. The room was clean and spacious. Service was excellent. Very good location. Close to all sightseeing places in West Cornwall. When we needed anything, Hayle is nearby to buy groceries.

Stayed a couple of nights on way back from Scilly Isles. Didn't have high expectations but bed was OK 3/5 Staff friendly and efficient,lent me his Caffeitiere. No Towels had to hire at two quid a go and lots of things missing,,,,just go and ask. Nice park inland but handy for all the coasts , don't rely on satnav get proper directions
