„The abode is located in the basement of a very nice home in a quiet neighborhood. It has a private entrance, very spacious living room and a small kitchenette. There was plenty of towels provided as well as an ironing board/iton, broom and vacuum. Since it is in the lower level of a home, you do have the noise of people above you but it was very quiet at night and in the early morning.It snowed while we were visiting and the host was so kind he cleared our walkway too. „The historic Funk home is a true gem. I love classic Victorian homes and the renovation work done to this home and the tasteful decor and cleanliness provided an impressive welcome for our stay. We were attending my brother's music festival; Fredfest, didn't get to spend much time at the house, but will try to schedule for next year to fully appreciate what the home has to offer.“

„The house was great for my family get together, 3 adults and 5 kids ages 4-8. Kids loved the game room and outdoor space. Kitchen was well equipped and lots of storage space for our supplies. Plenty of bathrooms and beds for our partcular needs. Great location that is convenient to many activities. “

„We had a nice stay at this home, it suited our group well. The layout is good for multiple sets of couples and I liked the access to resort amenities and access to restaurants and local activities. The house is located on a side road in the resort so low traffic and quiet area, good for a relaxing time.“

„Beautiful property and views. Stayed overnight with my Shepherd as we traveled back home on a long trip. Great open property to walk with my dog. Large basement rental with large kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. Plenty of TVs too! Being a basement rental, I could hear the family walking around upstairs so keep that in mind if it bothers you. Private gated entrance, nice patio, and private entrance to basement. „This was a wonderful weekend get away and you could tell the owner put a lot of thought and attention into making this a fun place for the adults and kids. I loved the holiday lights she had up and a beautiful view of the mountains. Everything was clean and up to date. We appreciated the space and the hot tub was the icing on the cake!“

„We get the extended family together each year around Christmas and this was everyone’s favorite Massanutten home. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which was a huge plus for the adults and there was plenty of open space for everyone. The kids loved the pools, of course! The only con was the hot tubs. They’re very small and you have to walk through a bedroom to get to either hot tub. We didn’t use them often. I wish there had been a larger hitting somewhere else on the property. Otherwise, ...

„The house has lots of space—really good sized rooms—and plenty of towels, linens, outdoor furniture and equipment, etc. to make your stay comfortable. Beautiful view of the mountains and incredible stars on a clear night. We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from JMU and it was close enough to be convenient.“
