„Lovely spacious place, very clean, nice staff, well priced, lovely room. My only gripe would be no curtain in the bathroom window, which looks into houses, but overall we liked it.“

„Great parking. We didn’t realise when we booked that the pub would shut at 8 pm on the Sunday which was disappointing but they gave us a key to enter the building and to come and go as we wanted. The bedroom was comfortable and the breakfast was very nice.“

„The room I was allocated was a single bed in a what I can only describe as a converted shed at the rear of the property. Damp and very cramped .. with the toilet 2 feet from your headboard .. awful smell of sewer as well .. £90!? Not worth that at all .. will not return.“

„Great old English inn. Very friendly staff, good food and beers. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was excellent.“

„Clean, comfortable, spacious room. Great, helpful staff. Close to bus station, restaurants, stores, boutiques, and four-FOUR charity shops! :) (Parking is confusing, however. Park in the nearby city lot in a space with WHITE borders-otherwise you may have to pay.)“

„Amazing hosts. Super helpful.“

„A warm welcome to the recently refurbished coach house. The adjoined pub offered tasty food. With a freshly cooked breakfast we were ready to enjoy the stunning countryside surrounding this delightful village.“

„Great little pub and the owners are fantastic. I loved it“
