This listing is for both the east and west sides of Pearl, together! Lots of space for everyone. Its BIG! And two of everything, including elevators... well, not two of the fridges, actually FOUR! :-) Connecting door in the living room areas! Nice. Togetherness for a LOT of people, but some space and separation too!

The Pearl is a really awesome beachfront duplex vacation home in Gulf Shores, Alabama. Is the Pearl on West Beach a big vacation home!? You know it! Is it fabulous? You bet! Should it be your next favorite place to stay in Gulf Shores? Absolutely! (If you act soon enough to get it... it goes away quickly every year!).
How big? 10 Bedrooms big PER SIDE. Sleeps 28 EACH SIDE!
That's big! In 8 kings and 4 sets of full-single combo bunk beds (a full bed underneath a single!). King beds. Big! And none of that sleeper sofa stuff to make it 28. Its 28 in beds, not pullouts. And, no, there are no sleeper sofas anywhere at The Pearl. Need to sleep more than 28? Take both sides of this huge duplex, and 56 people can stay comfortably, and in style! Or check into our other really big vacation houses, because we surely have the perfect size for you!

Huge living room big. A bonus living area on the top floor, with its own wet bar.
TWO OR MORE OF MOST APPLIANCES PER SIDE! TWO of the essentials on EACH side! BIG. With not one but two refrigerators. And, not one but two dishwashers too! Because when you are big: eat, drink, wash, repeat! It's better with two! Need ice? It's got icemakers, and not just on the two fridges! Clothes, swimsuits, towels? Of course it has a really big washer and dryer! In fact, one set per floor! Seriously.
ELEVATOR! How about accessibility? Elevators! One per side. Hoofing it up three floors can be hard. Why not an elevator?! Yes, the Pearl on West Beach has one of those too! And bathroom tweaks too. The bath on the main level has a floor roll in capable shower, just in case!
POOL? You bet! Of course! Huge pool for the sole use of the duplex. Big. Great place to lounge, or head under the home for a break from the heat, or on one of the many decks! All.. BIG! AND its heatable. Really big. In the vicinity of 14'x35′ big. Wow! Deck? Yup, covered and uncovered. We literally have you covered, when it comes to a deck! And its private to the two sides of our duplex, not shared with anyone else in the area! Heatable too! Added a propane gas pool heater, so YES the pool is heatable to a maximum of 82-84' (the high side of recommended rec pool temps) to take the chill off! This service is by request in advance with a nightly surcharge that varies by season and is per night for length of stay (the 12 month range has been $65-85 depending on season) gas is expensive right now, this does not actually recoup the cost!). Simply request the pool be heated any time after making the reservation and any time up to at least a few days before check in so we can get it on before you arrive. See our FAQ about heatable pools too. The pool is beachside, in the sun, with an expansive deck area around it, PLUS a nice shaded and sheltered area to escape the heat, right under the home. Nice!
BEACHFRONT? Absolutely. The Pearl on West Beach, is RIGHT on the beach. Nothing but sand between you, your guests, and the water (well, sand, and the pool!). Parking is no problem either. 3 cars fit under the house on each side, there is also a 25 foot driveway that can fit more cars per side, AND over flow parking is available across the street.
WIFI/INTERNET YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally rock solid and ran > 250Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
PARKING? Of course! All off street You can park 8-10 full size vehicles in front of the Pearl AND we own the parking right across the street, cleverly labeled: "Pearl Overflow Parking!" if you want a little more room to spread out your vehicles!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, GRILLS are not provided unless specifically listed, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig as well.
