Pool, gulf beach, or lagoon park: you’re close to all three in this third-story condo in the Seahorse complex. You can swim on-site in a sparkling blue pool, or walk a few short steps to the quiet white sands of West Beach on the gulf and to the Lagoon Park with great kayak access. West Beach, known for its beautiful white sands, is across the street from your condo. Spend the day in the sand and water without the crowds of Gulf Shores. Also a short walk away, the Little Lagoon has excellent swimming, fishing, and water sports. Keep an eye out for the jumping mullet fish! With nearby wildlife refuges, zoos, golf courses, and marinas, there’s plenty to keep you busy in the outdoors. The kids will enjoy the rides at Waterville, USA (10 min. drive) or Adventure Cove (15 min.). When you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll find plenty of the famous Gulf Shore restaurants less than five minutes away, including Bahama Bob’s Beachside Café. Even closer (and without the wait) is S & S Seafood Market, where you can get your oysters and shrimp to go.

Enjoy the evening breeze on the covered balcony after a twilight walk on the beach. Grill at the complex, or sample the many restaurants a short distance away. This condo has calm neutral walls and fun, beachy décor. The open floor plan includes beautiful tile floors, recessed lighting, and ceiling fans. You’ll love the “mudroom” area when you enter with plenty of baskets and hooks for shoes, towels, and more after the beach.

Curl up in the living room for a DVD on the large wall-mounted TV. The open kitchen has updated, full-size appliances and all you need to make a picnic lunch for the beach or a sit-down dinner. The dining area has a white wooden table with Mission-style chairs, and the adjacent kitchen island adds even more seating (and counter space). There’s a washer/dryer combo off the kitchen for keeping beach towels clean.

The primary bedroom has a queen-size bed, all-white furniture, a spacious closet, and a 19-inch TV. The en-suite half bath is newly remodeled with beautiful light fixtures. The second bedroom has two twin beds and a 12-inch TV, so you can all tune in to your favorite shows. Shower after the beach in the updated full bathroom’s inlay tub/shower combo with plenty of space for your toiletries.

Will not stay here again

On the 5th day of our week long trip, we were informed that the unit we were staying was not dog friendly. And there was a complaint about our dogs barking day and night. However, the management company was told the number of dogs at the same time we discussed the number of people. There was no mention of a pet fee during that conversation, however on the 5th day the pet fee was disclosed. We did meet one neighbor that mentioned that our dogs missed us. But as I was profusely apologizing, she mentioned that her dogs do the same thing and to not worry about it at all. However you can be sure that our dogs were quiet once we were at the condo every night while we were there. The latest we were out (hence barking dogs) was 11:00 one night early in our trip. So that could have been where the complaint was from, but we noticed it too and were back early going forward to keep that from happening again. At the end of our stay when we were packing up to leave, we got a knock on the door promptly at 10:00 AM from a realtor. To everyone's surprise we should have been gone by 10:00 AM. Yet the site said we should be out before 11:00 AM. We did our best and hastily got out by 10:30. And finally when we got home, I noticed a message on my phone from Wednesday, our 4th day there. It was a request for us to have someone at the condo at a certain time so maintenance could be done on the refrigerator. With all the problems with management we will not be returning to these condos again.

3 Story Nightmare

No one told me it was on the top floor ! With recent hip surgery & bad knees it was a nightmare ! No one ever answers on the phone # left on the fridge . We only had 3 towels !!! The couch was so saggy you can barely get up from it. The dryer vent was broken ! It was close to the beach . I wouldn't recommend this place .

Amazing Location

The location was perfect, close to the beach and close enough for other attractions but not in the crowded. The pool was nice. The condo itself was the perfect size for us. I would have liked a Keurig vs a regular coffee pot, my preference for ease. Before you rent make sure that the owners son knows it's occupied so he doesn't use his key to come in late at night!!

Great location and communication, could use some attention

The location is perfect and the pool is great. This unit could use some attention though. The beds aren't comfortable, one bathroom sink barely drains, the other sink was missing a stopper. Though small, the washer was functional and did what we needed. The dryer had to be restarted several times to dry even the smallest load, and the lint trap had clearly been broken for a while as it had been taped up and broken again through the tape. Communication from the manager was prompt and they did what they could to fix the issues we had upon check-in. With a few updates, we would definitely stay in this unit again.

For a beach condo it was perfect for our family of 6. The pullout couch was tore up so it made seating limited but we made do. The turnkey management was sweet in it trying to fine a resolution.

Perfect for a family vacation

My husband and I were really pleased with how close this property was to the beach-just a short distance through the parking lot and cross the street! My family and I spent every morning and evening enjoying the beach. The cleanliness of the condo was decent. Plenty of towels and blankets for use. Baseboards and trim work didn’t seem like it had been wiped down in quite some time. The WiFi would be my only complaint. Very difficult to connect too, but at the same time I didn’t go on vacation to use my computer or phone so I didn’t feel it was necessary to complain or contact someone. Bottom line, I would rent this property again. It was worth the money and my family and I had a wonderful time.

Place was very nice, clean, and had most things

There was a huge group of probably 20 very young guys in the condo below me. They played extremely loud music every night and were rude and were smoking everywhere around us and the condo. I texted the property and they said not their problem nothing they can do.

Property poorly cleaned

The place itself is cute and cozy, and it would be a lot better if only the cleaning crew actually dusted the place, (including molding and baseboards) as well as scrubbed all the grime on the refrigerator door handle and the bath tub! Yuck!!!

Great for small family!

This condo was clean and cute. Very close to the beach with only a very short walk there and the pool was nice. This location is just minutes from restaurants and shopping. Would definitely stay here again.

Had a blast!

The property was very clean, quick walk to the beach. The unit was well stocked with towels and everything you could need in the kitchen. A good starter set of trash bags, toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent. We were all pleased with our stay.

Our stay at Seahorse

The property was exactly the way the pictures and virtual tour described. However, I thought it was located on the beach, but it is actually across the street from the beach (within walking distance). I personally felt the condo could have been cleaned better, especially considering we paid a cleaning fee. One of the comforters in the bedroom with the twin beds looked dingy and had visible stains on it. The full bath had hair on the toilet as well as a glob of hair behind the toilet and possible shampoo or body wash on the shower curtain. There was sand on the dining table and two cards under the bed in the master bedroom along with hair underneath the cover. Another concern that we had was the rocking of the condo during the thunderstorm. We contacted Turnkey for assistance with seeking shelter and spoke with a gentleman from Denver who was able to gather information on local shelters and put us in contact with a local Turnkey representative. They were extremely helpful. I would suggest listing shelters, in the event of bad weather, along with the local weather channel in the informational binder that is kept at the condo. However, none of those things interfered with the time we had while in Gulf Shores. Seahorse overall was nice and we enjoyed our stay. We loved the fact that the condo was supplied with a plethora of necessary items and the only thing we needed to purchase was food.
