„Staff was great and our room was very clean. Would stay again if in the area“

„ When we walked in the front door you could smell an unpleasant mustiness. The bedding seemed clean, thankfully, but overall the place is not kept up and does not smell good. The staff was friendly enough, but the food wasn't worth eating, and the coffee was weak. We went to the downtown coffee shop for good coffee. “

„Very clean hotel, great staff would definitely stay again.they get bonus points for having a box fan for me and an extra charger... But that breakfast is awful. It's all warmed up microwave food, nothing but carbs and processed foods disgusting. Like probably the worst breakfast I've had at any hotel I've ever stayed at.“

„The hotel room was large, clean and nicely furnished. The staff was friendly. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Grinnell area.“

„Older, value-priced property that has signs of updating including new, quiet room hvac’s and door card readers. Comfortable beds. This is my first choice when traveling to Grinnell“

„This is an older hotel but dont judge a book by it's cover. The room was clean ( no carpet!)and just what we needed for a quick one night stay. The staff was nice. The only thing I could complain about was the washcloths were on the old side.“

„The service was great. But the air in one room the nob was broken and the hair dryer in the other room didn't even work.“

„The rooms with king-sized beds are spacious and have a small refrigerator. They are also fairly clean, but need to be updated. The new owners seemed nice. We stayed here for five days. The first two days there was no cleaning service. When I asked at the office late afternoon on the second day when they were going to clean my room, the owners said that for longer stays, they only come every third day upon which I said that I would like to have my room cleaned daily. After that they did come ...

„The room was comfortable. The breakfast was good. The staff were very nice. “

„The free breakfast was crap. Wasn’t nothing but cereal, old toast and premade pancakes you had to microwave.“
