Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt!
Zwar direkt an der Straße gelegen, sollte aber nicht abschrecken. Sehr schöne Hütten, gut ausgestattet, sauber, gutes Frühstück, sehr nett und hilfsbereit! Schöner Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, z.B. diverse Weingüter in Sonoma County.

Leider viel zu laut
Das Hotel liegt unmittelbar neben der Durchgangsstrasse und morgens ab 6:30 Uhr sind laufend Autos unterwegs. Dann ist es leider vorbei mit der Ruhe. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr schön und auch die Cottages sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Zentrum von Guerneville ist zu Fuss erreichbar.

This is a sweet oasis in a highly sought after summer vacation area. I love the private, interior garden with the pool and the fireplace area. The staff are so friendly and supportive.

For it's price point, an excellent property. Nice newly remodel & updated and clean & well-kept cottages, beautiful "courtyard" gardens and property. Excellent breakfast, well beyond the typical low-budget motel continental version. Greatly enjoyed my stay.

I loved the friendly staff and spacious, clean room with updated furnishings and a comfortable bed. The room came with a full kitchen, utensils, dishes, and glasses. The free breakfast featured oatmeal, bagels, muffins, fruit and hard boiled eggs. Very cozy and perfect for a weekend in Guerneville!

Disappointing Stay
The facsimiles have potential with a nice landscaping and friendly staff. However, there were se real issues that need to be improved. After checking in, it took more than 2 hours after turning on the heater for the cabin to reac a comfortable temperature. The porch and other outdoor lights were visible around the edges of the blinds creating a lot of light throughout the night which made it difficult to sleep.

The heating and ac where updated, the bed was comfy. I had enough pillows, I always have to ask for extra pillows not this time. The property is clean, tidy, and peaceful. If i get a chance I would definitely come back.

The "community" of cottages was a fun little arrangement. The landscaping and outdoor decorating was beautiful and well-kept. The hostess at check-in was very friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast with a nice selection. The bed was not super comfortable, and squeaked with every movement. It was also disappointing that the pool was closed.

Nice place. Would consider staying again.
Check-in was incredibly quick and easy as was check-out. Room was very clean and looked like it had been recently updated. I truly appreciated the access to a microwave in the common area as I was checked in on Christmas and didn't want to have to find an open restaurant. My only negative comments would be that the window blind did not close properly and I had to hang a bath towel over the window for privacy. In addition, the mini-fridge was very frosted over when I checked in (something that should probably be monitored in general) and it decided to defrost itself during the night expelling water all over the floor next to the bed where I stepped getting up in the morning...to my surprise.

Perfect for my solo getaway
Just what my soul needed! Thank you S'morah :) This is an amazing property that provides a base camp to an endless array of exerursions. I was on a solo get away and rented the Studio unit. It was fresh upon entry and very clean. There was self check in available for my late arrival, I loved there breakfast sandwiches, excellent location--taco truck right across the street, next to a great brewery. A great home base, close to many local attractions. Highly recommended!

Cottages on River Road is a gem
Cottages on River Road is one of our favorite places for a short getaway. Guerneville is only a couple of hours from the East Bay. Just aware that many restaurants have Fall/Winter hours which are shorter than Summer hours. Your dining g choices will be impacted.
The cottages surround a grassy area. There’s a fire pit installed.
