This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

I really appreciated the VRBO accommodation at Whidbey Island in Greenbank. It was a pleasant and enjoyable stay, with a stunning view and peaceful surroundings. The presence of wildlife was both a relief and a joy to experience—such a refreshing change from the desert landscapes of the Middle East. We especially loved the cool, gentle breeze at night and the warm, sunny air that greeted us each morning.

Fall Vacation

We visited Greenbank to meet our new granddaughter. We have stayed at this location before and the location makes it very easy for us to see our family and visit the island. A few issues were handled as soon as we called. The home is not the most modern but the double kitchens and the large rooms, along with the great view make it well worth the price.

Mostly a great stay!

We love this place. It was absolutely perfect with one exception...The master bedroom had a really bad fly problem. We constantly had 3-4 flies buzzing around. We would kill them and then there would be more. We had no idea where they were coming from, and when we called the property manager, they told us they were sorry. They also said they could have someone come out but that it wouldn't do any good because there are times of the year when that happens.

Great views, nice location

Communication with Tara, the property management company, was good. The location of 192 Greenbank Getaway is excellent and the neighborhood is good. The property is comfortable and served our purposes well. The reason I did not give an overall 5 star rating is that one bathroom has a leaking toilet that, judging by the floor and the grouting lines, has been leaking for some time. I call the management office and a Handyman was sent to do repairs. Handyman was not so handy. The toilet was still leaking when we checked out.

Greenbank Hideaway

Changes in our plans required finding a location close to our family in Greenbank. This home provided us with everything we required. The house was very clean, had a kitchen on both floors, a lovely deck with a great view, and full bathrooms on both floors. There was no cable TV but a very nice selection of movies and the music selection of CD's was awesome. Not the fanciest home I've stayed at but for the money it was 5 Stars.

Perfect spot

We stayed in this Greenbank property in August. It is pretty well centrally located on the island making it easy to get to the north end where Oak Harbor and Deception Pass are as well as the south end where Langley and Clinton (the ferry) are. The location is off the main road, has views of the water, and is very quiet. We enjoyed access to two kitchens and two bathrooms, and would stay here again if given the opportunity.

This property was great, for what we needed. My only concern was coming down the steps in front, the first step coming off the lower landing is a bigger drop than one might expect. Me, my son and daughter-in-law almost fell multiple times, even after we realized what a big drop it was. I would just hate for someone to fall.

Love This Place

We always stay here, because it's close to family and has everything we need. This time, we had a couple of minor issues. First, the kitchen floor upstairs was not clean. It had a gross film on it. Some of the dishes were not clean. We had to wash everything before we used it. And then the Carbon Monoxide alarm was expired for 3 years and decided to sound off while we were there. The on call help line was great about helping us promptly.

The view is great and the kitchen is very well supplied. Property management is prompt and courteous. Our issues were no television (although it was listed as an ammenity), gas grill did not work, ice maker not functioning, and bed and pillows should be improved.

Decent Place, Quiet Neighborhood

The property management made it clear that you were welcome to contact them about anything at all, which felt great. Management was lovely - five stars for them. The place was clean and well maintained. I was expecting out-of-date decor based on the other reviews but I marveled at it when we arrived - it was like a time capsule of the 1980s - which I guess it could be marketed that way with a positive twist to it? Or one could go all out with the 1980s theme? We initially had a hard time finding the place because the house numbers were hidden up near the door and there were no clear markings from the street that we could see in the dark when we arrived. We had to walk up to the door in the dark to see the house numbers, hoping that it wasn’t an occupied house. When we tried to pull out of the driveway that evening our car got stuck in the deep, loose gravel ... really stuck. We had to have it towed out the next day. There was nothing technically wrong with the property itself. Management was welcoming and accommodating, but there was something about the place that just didn’t sit right with us. I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe it was the white walls, the elongated layout, or the variety of furniture styles, but something about the place felt lonely, empty and forgotten.

Simple place to stay.

Great place to stay for adults that want to be out and about a lot. The space has an almost mirror upstairs and basement situation. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, two kitchens. Great if you enjoy just socializing with friends or have plans throughout Whidbey Island and just need a place to come back and relax at.
