Hello! I'm sorry to see that you were disappointed with your booking. There are several city names all over our country that have duplicates, so it is always best to verify the state as well as the city before booking. We do try to be lenient in these cases, but some bookings are non refundable. I do hope that you can come out to our area sometime in the future. I'm so sorry about that! All of our rooms have a pull down blackout shade that is recessed inside of the window frame. If your room was somehow missing it, I'm terribly sorry. I see that you were wanting a chaise lounge chair in your room. Our king standard room is the room type that you would need to reserve to have the chaise lounge chair. I'm terribly sorry that you were given the wrong information. Our suites have a pull out sofa bed. We do have handicapped accessible rooms with the beds being lower to the ground, if that would suit your husbands needs better. However, this is not a furniture item that can simply be requested to be added to a room, due fire code restrictions. I will talk to and educate our front desk staff so that they are aware of what room type these are located in. Again, I apologize for the misinformation. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write a review for our hotel. I'm sorry that the front desk may have seemed grumpy. It might not have been your kids or your team, but kids from one of the teams are the reason we had to close the pool. They were throwing paper cups in there, and someone was playing with the lifesaver ring. The paper cups and nylon rope from the rings got sucked up into the pump. Our pool is still down 2 weeks later, as we are waiting for parts to arrive. I am terribly sorry that this happened. We did not close the pool because we didn't want the team in the pool. We closed it because we HAD to. When the pump is not working, it can not circulate the chemicals needed to make it a safe environment for everyone. We had multiple parents letting their kids in the pool area unattended, which is what led to this. Please know, that had parents and kids been properly following the posted rules, the pool would not have been closed, and our front desk agent certainly wouldn't have seemed to have been so grumpy. I'm really sorry that the actions of a few ruined the experience for many. I hope that the next time you are in our area that you would be willing to stay with us again. We would love the opportunity to show what it is really like to stay at our property.

I am truly sorry that our jets were not working in the hot tub. We are currently waiting on parts to fix the issue, but we are working on getting them back in working condition. I'm sorry if you were expecting the bar to be open over the weekend. Our website lists the bars hours, and we don't ever have it open on the weekends unless there is a wedding or another event paying to have the bar open. Our occupancy is usually much higher during the week, and for the most part, the bar doesn't make enough on the weekends to justify having it open. There are very few Hamptons that have a lounge/bar on property. Since it is not brand standard, we do have to keep the operating costs there low. I'm so sorry that it affected your stay. We certainly appreciate the feedback on this though! I am extremely sorry if the breakfast area ran out of food early. That should never happen and we will be following up with the staff that was on duty. We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Aside from the issues you encountered, I am very happy to see that you were able to enjoy the surrounding landscape while hiking near the hotel. That is one of our favorite features of the area!
