Very nice View
Room with nice view on the sea, very good matress, modern and clean. Good internet theoughout hotel including beach. Nice lounge bar at the beach. Taxi to Pythagereo 7 € per Trip. Car rental in walking distance from hotel. What should be improved is restaurant selection: Officially hotel has 4 restaurants. One was closed, one only opens at lunch, one only depending on weather conditions. In reality, there was only one restaurant open offering buffets - which we did not want. However, next town is nice and close, so we has most dinners outside.

Great Room with a view and pool.
Proteus was gorgeous, comfortable and great services by staff. The only down side is that meals are all buffet style unless you order by menu at the pool side.

Love Proteas Blu
Always the best hotel to stay in when in Samos. The best hospitality, who truly want you to have the most relaxing holiday. Very beautiful views, rooms and drinks. Short Taxi or moped ride away from the city of Pythagorio for exploring, or meals. The private beach here is to die for !

Superbe hôtel sur un site magnifique.
Superbe hôtel avec vue plongeante sur la baie. Très belle vue des bungalows front de mer, du restaurant panoramique, du bar de la piscine. Personnel souriant, toujours prêt à rendre service, compétent. Des petites attentions tous les jours. Hôtel calme mais cependant animé : musique aux bars, soirée grecque le jeudi, repas de gala une fois par semaine. Prix des consommations tout à fait correct pour un hôtel de cette catégorie. Aménagement de la plage et de la piscine au top. Le seul petit bémol : pas de service à café dans la chambre! Bref, un séjour de rêve. Un de mes meilleurs souvenirs et pourtant, nous voyageons beaucoup !

Wij vinden het leuk als er sfeer in een hotel zit. Dat tref je hier niet. De avonden zijn saai en de openbare ruimtes klinisch en ongezellig. Service perfect, vriendelijke mensen en super bufetten. Voor ons te ver van het dorp, lopend. Reken op extra taxi ritten. Inrichting kamers niet overdreven luxe. Alles is aanwezig maar gebruikte kleuren en materialen niet meer van deze tijd wat wel moet bij een 5 steren hotel in deze tijd. Wij hadden een kamer met zwembad, een suite... dat is super tof

A great hotel experience
A sublime place to stay. Only complaint is that facilities said to be exist did not, e.g. Shop, library, and facilities normally found in hotels were not there, e.g. Information brochure stand, instructions about how things in the room work. But any concerns were more than compensated for by superb service and attention from all staff.

Prachtig mooi en erg goed onderhouden hotel
Erg mooi hotel met privé strand. Super vriendelijk personeel, goede service. De poolsuites hebben een prachtig uitzicht op Turkije. Het hotel heeft een prachtig zwembad met alle soorten lig en launchebedden. Mooi restaurant bij t zwembad waar je erg goed kunt lunchen. Ook bij t strand zijn lig en launchebedden. Toilet en douche zijn aanwezig bij t strand. Wij hebben genoten van dit hotel en raden t zeker aan.

World Class on the Beach
This is a great resort, on the beach, with a fantastic pool also. It is close to town and an easy drive to Vathy. Being perched on the side of hill is also a great way to stay in shape. This is common in Greece. The views are priceless too.

Great views and nice rooms
We got a very good deal online ($25/night) and for that price this hotel was outstanding. It is a resort, with all rooms having a view of the water and their own private porch. We were in the hotel (as opposed to the bungalows) and the room was clean and well appointed. There is wifi throughout the building, and a nice spa with sauna and cool pool. Weather was too chilly for swimming but the outdoor pool and ocean beach are both very nice, though the beach furniture was a bit in dis-repair (possibly because it was the end of the tourist season). Tips: You can walk to town in about 25 minutes and it's not a bad walk though there is no sidewalk for much of the way. Otherwise you pay $5-7Euro to get to town. In town there are cute restaurants and some grocery stores. If you want to see the island or plan to go to town often and don't want to walk, consider renting a car or scooter. We took the ferry over from Turkey, and from Vathy town where the ferry lands, you can catch a public bus to Pythagorio. If you tell the fare collector that you are going to Proteas they will let you off before town, just in front of the entrance to the resort. Busses do not run very often so be sure to check the schedule. We tried to catch the bus back to Vathy from a stop up the street from the resort, but in spite of their general reliability it did not show up and we ended up taking a cab to be sure we were not late for our ferry back. Nice common areas, nice tennis court.

Fantastic experience
Me and my girlfriend had 7 fantastic days at Proteas Blu Resort! The staff was kind, the surroundings were fantastic nice and the buffet in the morning were simply great! Only downside, were the newly renovated room, were a few features were missing. Otherwise, a fantastic stay that we can only reccomend to others!
