You will lose cell seevice on the gorgeous Gunflint Trail, so make sure you have saved your check in instructions beforehand. Note that many lodges on the trail have restaurants, but not this one, so bring food with you before you arrive. It was great to be able to use the resort amenities and there are fabulous restaurants in walking distance or even a short drive away.
