Our managers are normally available immediately, but last night there were many events happening around the Square in Granbury, so it was a hectic time. And being located on the Square is a positive for many guests who want to be near everything for walking, but there can be some noise associated with that. The feedback we have received from our guests is that they appreciate being able to go to breakfast whenever they would like to do that, not at a specific time. Having a breakfast partner that is a short walk across the Square has been very well received since you can go there whenever you would like. It's very unusual that they would have a long wait. Thank you for providing your feedback! We are glad that you enjoyed many things, but wish that it had all been satisfactory to you. I would like to address a few things.1) The elevator is not old, but was installed when we renovated the building 10 years ago. The small size is unfortunately all that would fit where it could be placed.2) Granbury has become a popular place and is even a designated music-friendly town now. We have live music on Friday & Saturday evenings that is finished by 10:00, unless the patrons requesting some encores could make it last until 10:30 at the latest.3) We wish that we could control any speeding cars on the street for sure! They are brave with the police station so nearby.4) Since our restaurant doesn't open until 11:00 a.m., we partner with the Square Cafe for breakfast. The vouchers for breakfast state a value, as we cannot leave that open-ended unfortunately.Thank you very much for your kind comments and positive rating. Thank you for your positive comments about our place! We are located on a corner of the Square, so you are right that the sounds can be heard from there when it's busy. Music at Farina's Winery & Cafe downstairs ends at 10:00 p.m. on Friday & Saturday, so we apologize if that was a disturbance to you. If you heard music after that time, it was another business that is nearby across Bridge Street and down the alley, as they have live music later than we do. Recently (in February) Granbury was certified as a music-friendly city. Granbury is the 40th city in Texas designated as a Music Friendly Community. :-)We are glad to know that for the most part, you enjoyed Casa Farina B&B!Sincerely,Robbie Farina

Thank you for your feedback about our B&B. Being on the Square has a lot of advantages, such as being able to walk everywhere and not have to drive while there. We have many parking spaces and the very large city parking lot is adjacent to us and can be used. Regarding the elevator and stairs, we make guests aware ahead of their stay that the elevator can't be used when our employees are not there and the alarm is set, which is from around 10:00 p.m. (or later on weekends) to around 8:30 a.m. Most guests are okay with that policy, but we understand that some guests are unfortunately unable to use the stairs.We are so glad that for the most part you enjoyed our place. Hello, we certainly appreciate your feedback. This is very puzzling though because there were no guests in the suite next door to you last night. And live music in the restaurant stops at 10:00 p.m. Is there a possibility that the music was coming from another business in the area? I'm asking because there is a noise ordinance in Granbury that states outdoor music must stop at 12:00 on weekend nights, but we are wondering if someone in the area did not adhere to that.As far as not being able to reach someone, our staff downstairs in the restaurant was there until after midnight. The B&B phone was silenced at 2:00 a.m., which we think is a reasonable time to not expect to receive calls after that time. We did see that there was a missed call at 2:55 a.m.We are sorry that you did not experience a restful night at our place.
