It is a beautiful, modern and relaxing hotel. The down points for me were that the bedrooms are far too hot with no air conditioning, the food was mediocre and very overpriced. €15 for a ham and cheese sandwich is outrageous.

I am disappointed that you should feel that Food & Beverage Offerings were not pleasing to you. Our main course sandwiches are immensely popular, in particular our Baked Wexford Brie, Parma Ham & Pear Chutney, served with Rocket and your choice of Fries or Sweet Potato Fries. Ok but only ok.
Good service in a difficult time for hotels but with no air-conditioning the rooms are really warm and leaving the windows open makes sleeping more difficult with noise from the car parks and early morning delivery vans to the side of the hotel. Furniture showing its age and lime scale around taps and sinks is terrible. Fire doors to the stairs wedged open to try and reduce the heat in the closed corridors. Doors and walls are scuffed and damaged in places, and holes in the walls where stuff in the bathroom has been removed at some stage. Only one lift so with social distance issues most people just use the stairs. Staff pleasant but many are very young and lack experience, but they do try and make your visit as comfortable as possible. No real housekeeping service at the moment with the covid restrictions but I imagine it's the same everywhere. Beach access is a nice bonus and the grounds and golf course look to be well kept. Not sure who designed the site layout making you drive in through a small housing estate to reach the hotel as it's just a bit of a mess. Can't understand how a 4 star hotel in Ireland in 2020 has no air-conditioning in the rooms, and providing fans while a slight improvement just won't cut it. Ask for a room at the back of the hotel if you are a light sleeper. Wouldn't be in a rush back.

Emplacement superbe
Bel hôtel isolé mais tout à disposition sur place pour une escale d'une nuit. Très bon restaurant. Spa avec bassin extérieur extrêmement agréable, peignoirs et chaussons à disposition bien appréciables. Belle plage à laquelle on accède par une promenade.

Nice hotel by the beach. Rooms are clean but could do with a repaint with marks on the walls. Bathrooms lovely and spa is very good. Unfortunately we were kept awake with a wedding on the first night and the as there was also a wedding on the second night, we asked to be moved which they did. Food is lovely - Would recommend it overall.

Totally Overpriced
Most disappointing stay for a long time. There are plenty of better options where the price is aligned to what you get. The buildings etc are great, built in celtic tiger with no expense spared. However, now it is being run on a shoe string by people who seem to have limited hotel experience. Impacts: One time use "white" slippers are yellow, towels are frayed at the edges, lovely leather chairs are splattered with dirt, breakfast is a complete fiasco - be prepared to be missing butter / sugar / cutlery, have to ask 2-3 times and they will arrive probably after you gave up or your breakfast is cold. Annoyingly the staff are well intentioned people but there is no process or management which means they are all running around like headless chickens. After breakfasts being such disasters we could not face eating dinner there, room service was nice. I did not use spa, the gross slippers put me off going down. I expected Seafield would be perfect for a couples weekend. Reality is they are trying to be everything: spa, wedding venue, conference venue, family (kids club) etc etc reality is it does not work for anyone. There are plenty of old school 3 star properties who do a way better job at a fraction of the cost. Definitely the worst review I have written possibly ever, seriously do not waste your money!!!!!!

All we could have asked for. Room great bed absolutely wonderful. Check in thorough friendly and very much set the tone for a really lovely overnight. Second time we have stayed. Last time in courtyard suites. Overall excellent standard. Really good value for the price. Spa and pool an additional good experience.

We really enjoyed the trip to Seafield, staff were v helpful and grounds were lovely. My only complaint would be that there was a wedding on and our room was above it. It literally vibrated until 4am

Hotel and location were wonderful. Rooms bright and airy and gorgeous location. Service in the resturant was awful - breakfast was supposed to be from 7, however there was no buffet till 8 which caused delay in getting hot food. Very poor staffing levels and had to ask for table to be cleared very day. Staff were very lovely and helpful. There just weren't enough of them on duty.

One night stay
There were 7 of us staying in the hotel at the weekend. Very difficult to fault hotel - beautiful and stunning location. We had lunch on the terrace and service was quite slow( it was a very busy Saturday with both a function and wedding on). Food at both lunch and dinner were lovely... The presentation of food at dinner was the best I've seen at any hotel. The rooms were very comfortable with spacious bathrooms. They did however be very warm and there was no way to cool them down( open windows did little to help). Overall though a great stay and we'll definitely be back!

Great Hotel
Have to say it was faultless. Beautiful hotel, set in a lovely part of Wexford, beside a the beach and boasting an impressive spa. Breakfast was superb every morning and dinner in the bar was reasonable and excellent. Highly recommend. The staff couldn't do enough for you, very impressed.

Stay August 2012. Hotel is excellent value. Reception staff were very pleasant and helpfull. Breakfast buffet offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Did not use the restaurant but ate in the bar - this again was very good fare. The room was very clean and comfortable. The spa facilities were excellent and the staff there were also very pleasant. The only negative - the service in the bar was not up to scratch - not that the staff were at fault but rather it appeared too few of them. Overall, a very enjoyble stay and I would definitely return or recomment to others.

If it was cleaner would be great!!
The Spa was fabolous. We had an issue with the room, as it was not clean properly (dirty cluttery on the tea facilites, dirty glasses, dust (I am allergyc to dust...) We communicated this and a member of the staff came to our room to show her and one of the maids where was the room not cleaned properly, this was embarrasing for us and humilliating for the maid. The other issue we didn't have bathrobes provided in any of the two rooms we were in. The following morning we went to the Spa and they didn't have towels, and they said to us that we should have been provided with bathrobes.

Excellent rate through Hotels.com Very comfortable hotel adjacent to the beach. Breakfast was the only disappointment. Started great with fabulous fruit salad but rashers in the fry tasted as if they had been reheated from the day before.

A very nice hotel by the ocean. Nice rooms, good service and food. The impression was better then expected. Only downside, it´s a bit remote.
