Woodland Lodge is an idyllic country retreat consisting of 2 buildings, the main House sleeping up to 10 guests and the separate Chalet sleeping up to an additional 2 guests, all set in 1.3 acres of landscaped gardens and grounds, situated in a secluded rural area of the East Yorkshire countryside.

Woodland Lodge is the perfect place for families and friends to enjoy a get-together with luxury features including a hot tub, outside bar, BBQ and pizza oven.

Our aim is for you to enjoy a peaceful and luxurious stay at Woodland Lodge where you can totally relax and feel at home. You will be welcomed with fresh flowers, a hamper and a bottle of fizz in the fridge and the hot tub will be ready for you to soak into.

The retreat is ideally located close to the M62 J37 at Howden only 3 miles from WL (10 minute drive) York (25 miles), Beverley (20 miles) Hull (24 miles) and Leeds (42 miles).

The large fully equipped kitchen, which opens into the dining room has everything thing you need to cook and entertain and includes a comfortable seating area.

The dining room is warmed by a log burner, has an oak floor and two sets of bi-fold doors opening up onto the stone-flagged terrace.

Beautifully furnished, the sitting room is the perfect place to spend time chatting and relaxing in front of the log burner. There are three sets of patio doors also opening onto the terrace.

The House has 5 double bedrooms, 3 on the first floor and 2 on the ground floor. All have en suite facilities. The Chalet provides a further ground floor bedroom with en suites.

Easter holidays, bank holiday weekends, Christmas and New Year are charged at Friday and Saturday rates.

One bedroom in the house has twins beds, all other rooms are furnished with king size beds, all with luxurious bedding. If there are two singles occupying the king size beds, over sized individual bedding will be supplied- please let us know your preference.

Enjoy socialising on the covered terrace where you can dine on the lovely hand made Redwood Dining table, have a drink in the bar area, sun bathe on the loungers, swing on the hammock or bubble away in the Jacuzzi hot tub.

The outdoor cooking area is great for entertaining and provides a commercial stainless steel pizza oven and stainless steel charcoal bbq.
