Wonderful getaway!
It was a wonderful, relaxing time with family. The home was lovely and accomidating. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Just bring your food and drinks:) The property description was clear and accurate and the host was quick to reply to any questions. Great experience. Were already talking about coming back in the summer:)

Weekend in the lake
The house is perfect for a weekend getaway. Lake is close but it is pretty muddy. The two decks were perfect, however there is a wasp nest on the side of the house as you walk around from front to back. I got stung . The view is beautiful. Don’t use the private drive as you are coming in our GPS brought us in that way , either you will need to backtrack or have a hard time navigating the driveway down to house it is very steep and a short driveway. The key code for the house is for the box on the front porch post that gives you access to the key to the front door. These are just a few minor details that would of been nice to know but overall it is a great house, the kitchen is well equipped , very clean and comfortable.

This was a fantastic place to stay. We were only about an hour from Branson, MO and 35 minutes or so from Eureka Springs, AR. The drive was lovely. The house was clean, quiet, and roomy. Our family enjoyed the quiet after busy days enjoying Silver Dollar City. Sitting on the screened porches was very relaxing. The kayaks on the lake were a nice bonus. It was so nice to grill and cook our own meals. The reservation process was easy. The hosts returned our phone calls quickly, and there were very clear instructions left in a binder on the countertop. Just a quick note: the driveway is very steep and rough, but we were able to carefully navigate it. Our family had an excellent experience, and we hope to return soon.

This house was very accommodating. The only issue we had, was the master bedroom and the bedroom downstairs, the mattresses were not comfortable. They was dirty clothes left in the upstairs bathroom. Behind the loveseat up stairs was a dirty rag. Suggestion pull out the furniture when cleaning. The hida beds in the couches was dirty, I am guessing from people sitting on the couches and not using the hidabeds, and then the cleaner not pulling out the hida beds to clean. Other than that is was a very nice getaway.

Cozy and beautiful
Highly recommended place to stay. Clean, roomy, and very nice. The neighbors were not too close and were friendly. Overall, this place was great! Wanted a place close to Eureka Springs, but with land and serenity. This was it.

This place was a very nice place to stay
I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this home. Very quiet and beautiful scenery. The home was perfect had everything we needed and very clean! The lake was alittle disappointing as it was very mushy and muddy to get to it other wise our stay was great and we will plan on doing it again!!

Great family weekend
We had a great time with our family at the house. There was plenty of room for everyone. However, the house needed a good cleaning. Some rugs were dirty, baseboards, corners, decor needed a cleaning or dusting. The beds were extremely creaky/noisy, and pillows were pretty flat. Plenty of towels, and kitchen supplies, and we used the grill which was great. Kitchen appliances were very nice. The firepit was not usable- just a pile of brush. TV remotes needed batteries. Bug trap in the lower bathroom was full of an assortment of bugs when we arrived. There are holes in the screens on the back deck. We had to kill several wasps and spiders inside the screened in porch. It's the lake- I get it, there's going to be bugs. But the screened in porch should be bug free. The water level was down at the lake, so no lake access. We went to King's River Marina to the swimming area and beach about 20 min away and had a great time.

Quiet cabin on the lake
Great quiet location! Perfect for a relaxing family vacation with perfect location to do all sort of fun day adventures. Without all the craziness near Branson. Kids had a blast fishing and building sandcastles.

Lake was not accessible
We had to go somewhere else to enjoy the lake which was hard on 8 60 some year old women having to load up all our stuff everytime. Also the ac went out on Thursday the 14th of July 2022 in the morning the guy that came to fix it arrived after 5pm it was miserable. We whined up having to leave 2days early.

Very enjoyable stay
We loved our long weekend at the Little House on the Lake! GPS led us right to the house. After a small snafu upon arrival and a phone call with Teresa the property manager, everything went very smoothly! Teresa was easy to reach and very helpful throughout our stay. The house is well-equipped and very comfortable. We spent most of our time out on the screened in porch, watching the boats and the turtles. Appliances are like new and it was nice to have the full size washer/dryer. The neighborhood is very quiet and well kept. Location is wonderful for a quick 30 min drive into Eureka Springs. We also highly recommend the SS Dockside restaurant at the Kingside Marina, just 15 min away. We will stay here again, no question!

Everything was exactly like it was listed. Enjoyed the screen in balcony. Only thing negative was the 10 AM check out time. Would of been easier if it was at 11. Getting kids up early and showers taken all by 10 was a little overwhelmed.

Lovely stay
We loved this house! It was right by the water and we felt at home instantly. First night we watched a thunderstorm in the screen porch. Close to eureka springs, other nearby parks and j the house itself was fun to be at. Had everything we needed-kitchen full equipped, house cozy..thank you. We would come again!

The house was very much as described an depicted. It was clean, tidy and the lake decoration theme was throughout the home. The bedrooms were nice and the beds were comfortable as were the sofas and chairs in the living rooms. The kitchen was very well equipped. We only had to bring the groceries we used. The furnished washer and dryer were also a plus. The screened in back balcony was perfect for relaxing and watching the birds, squirrel and chipmunks. The location was right on the river and was beautiful and quiet. We’re hoping to return this fall for a long weekend of watching nature with the change of fall colors as the back drop!

Not as advertised
The pictures of this place are obviously taken a long times ago and were "glamor" shots. There is NO where to get in the water to swim etc. that you don't sink into the mud, there are limbs and tree roots and a great deal of broken glass to deal with in the process. The screened in porches are completely covered in spider webs with visible egg sacks, inside and out. Outside you had to contend with the wasps and nests as well. The kayaks were outside full of rain water and mosquito larvae. The downstairs screened in had not been cleaned in awhile. The obvious areas inside the house were wiped down or swept but not the less trafficked areas like the side of the bed next to the wall. The air vents and ceiling fans were definately dirty. The instructions for leaving say to wash and put dishes away but the dishes in the cabinets had to be washed before use they were still dirty. The potholders had food on them and had to be washed. We called the owners because they were unaware of the leak in the sink downstairs but it should have been very obvious if the sink had been cleaned. The plumber came and fixed the leak and found another issue he was in and out on two of our days. The oven had what almost looked like burnt paper ash in it. Under normal circumstances we would have just cleaned and moved on but not when extra measures for covid should have been taken. No cleaning products were left except windex, dish soap, some dish/laundry pods and toilet bowl cleaner. Nothing to wipe down counters or the table with. I have a feeling that this is mostly a cleaning crew issue but for the amount of cleaning fee paid you should be able to sit on the screened in porch without spiders or walk on floors without getting black socks. This is NOT the place for swimming but would be good for some really laid back dudes that wanted to fish off the bank, it was not good for 3 military females annual girls trip.. We got several texts at 10:15ish on last day because we hadn't locked up yet. We were walking our dogs for the trip home, the owners had the cleaning lady there and had more people coming in that day.

Hi Tonya, we want our guests to arrive at a vacation home that is 100% ready for their stay, so we take the cleanliness of our properties seriously. We followed up with the homeowners, who wanted to apologize that the property was not as clean as it should have been. They have hired a new cleaning service to ensure future guests do not have the same issue. Regarding the lake, there have been extremely high water levels this year, which causes debris. This is out of their control, but the owners are sorry to hear that it made your trip less enjoyable.

Everything was very good. The only problem we had was with trash. Dumpster was full when we arrived. When it was picked we filled it up again. We had to bring home the later weeks trash home with us.

Fun time
Even though the water was up higher, we still enjoyed the Little House on the lake. There was plenty of room for 8 people and 2 dogs. The beds were really comfy. The boys had a great time exploring with the provided kayaks.

Fall Getaway
The outdoor area, lake front and view is the best! The screened in porch area could use a bit of spring cleaning. The negative was there was no cable TV. Our stay was during the World Series and while we do not go on vacation to watch TV, we were definitely planning to watch the games during our stay (did I mention we are from Houston so watching the World Series was a big deal, sadly our Astros lost). Since other amenities are listed as being included I feel no cable TV should be noted as not included. Overall we enjoyed the home, definitely off the grid and that was what we wanted!

Beautiful location, but property needs TLC
Beautiful surroundings and screened-in porch is nice to view the lake that is steps from the house. Unfortunately, the house needs TLC. When we arrived, the air fresheners were very overpowering, the coffee pot was moldy and still had moldy grounds in it. The stove top and oven haven't been scoured in a very long time, dishes were dirty, and the tub upstairs doesn't drain during shower. Two of the couches had throw blankets strategically placed to hide the missing leather on the entire backs (not quite plush as advertised). The grill propane tank was empty so grilling was not possible unless we would have paid to fill it. There are flat screen televisions, but can only be used to view DVD's. Overall, a disappointing spend.

The homeowner wishes you would have reached out regarding any of your concerns as they would have been happy to go to generous measures to address them. The owner plans to bring up your concerns with their cleaning crew so that they can ensure that this issue does not recur for future travelers. The owner is also aware of the issue with the couch and chair and is sorry that this affected your stay. They plan on replacing the furniture at the first of the year. The owner doesn't provide propane for the tank for the grill, and the property does not advertise that it has cable television. The owner plans to update their listing to ensure that this is more clear moving forward. We hope you'll consider giving Evolve another chance for your future vacation rental needs! Little House on the Lake
Had a very relaxing time at the Lake house. We had 12 in all and room for every one. I love love loved the screened in deck so peaceful. Everyone enjoyed the kayaks and we even took the kayaks out early in the morning and got beautiful pictures of the sunrise. I wish we would have rented the house for 2 weeks no one wanted to leave. Our week flew by

Lake Cabin
A true lake cabin. The cabin interior was clean with quality bedding and furniture. However, the outside could use some sprucing-up. Due to water levels being high this year a great deal of debris was along the bank which created a small challenge in getting to the water. Over-all we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning in the future.

Great family place, relaxing!
Our party of 2 families that totalled 9 people stayed for 4 nights and it worked out so well. Location was perfect for us! We went to SDC twice and Roaring River State Park as well. Love that it's out in a more rural location. For fun we counted how many fish were on decorations...115 counted. ;) The back screened porch is really nice and our friends enjoyed the kayaks. It's well stocked for cooking.
