„ basic but very comfortable accommodation 10 minutes walk from the nearest pub.The room was a decent size the bed was comfortable there was plenty of storage. The bathroom and shower were good with plenty of toiletries. there is plenty of parking room. I would take a torch if walking to local pubs and restaurants as the road has no pavement for about 100 metres and is quite dark but the road is quiet on a night“

„The lodge looked amazing at first glance and it was even better when we inspected it. It felt welcoming, cosy and warm, was well equipped, and thoroughly clean. Despite being a few metres away from the main road we didn’t feel disturbed by traffic noise. A great detail was that the hosts left us a variety of local produce in the kitchen, and even a little Christmas gift under the tree which was put up for the occassion! My only negative comment would be that the bathroom felt noticeably colder ...

„We had a wonderful three days at Upstairs at 33. The room was very comfortable and very clean and we would definitely recommend it. Communication with the property was excellent about arrival and access arrangements. The staff in the lovely cafe downstairs were excellent and we had very good breakfasts there each day. Plenty of good restaurants in the area and we would certainly recommend Ounce for good and service. We certainly hope to return to Upstairs at 33. Andrew & Corrina“

„It was clean and accessible. No street noise or guest noise. Walkable to the train station. Comfortable bed. Very basic breakfast and basic tea & coffee. No local eateries except for poor takeaways. Staff not particularly friendly. “

„We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights.“

„Very clean room, the Deer room, nice size with large bathroom, great shower. Tea, biscuits and milk in mini fridge, alternative milks available if needed. Quiet area behind the main road. Several great restaurants, but book ahead as they can be busy for dinner. We stayed here 8 years ago on holiday and are glad we came back, it was just as good as we remembered. “

„Guest House liegt mitten im Zentrum. Es hat im Innenhof auch genügend Parkplätze, was in den Cotswolds enorm wichtig ist. Zweibettzimmer war gross und die Matratzen waren halt typisch englisch; solala. Frühstück war auch wie man es in England kennt; kleine Auswahl aber gut. Beim ein- bzw. auschecken war niemand anwesend. Schlüssel wurde jedoch bereit gelegt. Für den Preis mitten im Zentrum; gerne wieder.“

„Great communication and a room upgrade which was a pleasant surprise. Well appointed, stylish room with comfy bed, a powerful shower and nice tea, coffee and biscuits. An eye mask and ear plugs were supplied as the only down side is there is noise from the street. The windows are sash and I expect can’t be double glazed. Probably not an issue unless you’re a light sleeper.“
