No reception from 8pm to 8am very unsafe. Hallways smelled like urine, room furniture was all scuffed up to bare wood poor maintenance, sink did not drain, shower never got hot just warm. Toilet paper and Kleenex was like using sand paper. Will never stay again. Breakfast was included in the room rate but it was a joke, it was all wrapped like someone took out of a box.

Property is very clean and maintained. Check in was friendly and efficient. Oasis Spa was wonderful and the Riverside Grill located off the main lobby was excellent. Our room was large, updated and clean. There’s a boutique in the lobby area and vending is ample. Local quick meals are up and down the main road as well as local grocery. The outdoor property was under construction at the time, but the river area is lovely.

The rooms were well maintained, super comfy beds, so nice and quiet, our river view relaxing, and a healthy grab and go breakfast! We especially loved that the hotel is located right on the Trail of Two Cities. My son and I enjoyed two mornings of jogging to North Park and back. (Too confusing to locate the connection through the campground area to the southern connection. Wanted to try it, but could not locate where it started again.)

I stay here every couole times a year. Very quite and clean. The beds are the most confortable beds ever. Service is amazing. Shampoo, conditioner and body was is top quality and smells amazing. They have everything you need. The restaurant downstairs is very convinient and food is delicious. I highly reccomend this place to everyone.

Given this was a last min overnight stay w friend, we were very impressed with the beauty and cleanliness of hotel- especially the comfort of the room and after 6 hr drive we looked forward to quiet sleep 😌.. That said, we were unaware it was also ‘day 1 for hunting’ 😳 There was a huge event in the lot, lots o music etc.. (not a complaint.. just not aware hunting is a party event!) 😂

A gem in Gladwin
Great place to stay, a gem in Gladwin, my room was spacious and very comfortable. Plus the jacuzzi was a plus, took a long soak an let the jets unwind the day.

Bed broken down
The bed was so broken down that before we got in it you could see two distinct dips. It was a 3”-4” drop from the sides of the bed. My back was in so much pain the next day that I had to be helped out of it. There was water damage to the trim in the room that severely needed fixed. The gym that was advertised was out in a open foyer and had equipment that wouldn’t turn on. Having stayed at many hotels throughout South America, Canada, and the US, I was disappointed in this resort. The surroundings were beautiful but the lack of an adequate mattress, functioning gym, and upkeep was disappointing to say the least.

Fabulous Stay
Our trip went above and beyond expectations. The resort had a great resturant on site. As well as a boutique, spa, and river view. Eat outside if you can at the resturant, great views. Highly recommend the Jacuzzi room.
