„The Grassington Lodge is truly minimalist. A very small room, two bath towels, and one hand towel. For the third of three nights they added a bath mat and a bar of soap. The only staff ever present was the cleaning lady and her assistant. She was kind and helpful but certainly not enough to welcome and assist guests. “

„Es ist ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel, bei dem das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis nicht besonders gut ist. Schon der Aufstieg mit dem Gepäck über die steilen Treppen ins 2. Stockwerk (kein Lift) ist sehr beschwerlich. Es erwartet einen ein im alten Stil engerichtetes Zimmer und ein Bad mit einer überdimensionierten Eckbadewanne, dafür ein winziges Waschbecken. Die Eckbadewanne ist außerdem etwas ungünstig zu besteigen und auch zum Duschen. Irgendwelche Heizleitungen führen ungedämmt und ...

„Good size rooms for family of 4. Good breakfast of full English or kippers. Great food from the pub below for dinner. Excellent all round. Note: If you are sensitive to noise, dont bother as you can hear the pub from downstairs. Otherwise it's good!“
