For future guests, please note you can push on the door when turning the deadbolt. Wooden building tends to shift as time passes. Some doors are hard to adjust. We appreciate your patience!

I see you had a log style room which explains the gap in headboard. I can agree it is visually decorative, but functionally with a gap where pillows can fall in. I would have been happy to provide an extension cable for power, extra pillows, additional portable heater, or even a switch to another room for your satisfaction. Dear valued guest, we are disappointed to hear your experience was not handled with more care and apologize. We pride ourselves on being a humble family owned and operated business. The heaters in our facility are not forced air and are baseboard heaters. Your booking rate was reflected for last minute bookers on a sold out night with three beds. Updates are overdue and are coming in slowly. Thank you for your patience. We hope to meet your expectations better next time.For future guests to be aware. The heater in that room has been confirmed in working order. We also have additional portable heaters at the front desk which are provided upon request. Our lobby does close after 10 PM. We have it written in the confirmation email and give you a verbal reminder when you check-in. We are available by phone afterhours incase of emergencies.
