Ein Sauberes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Die Lage ist Super. Obwohl die Einrichtung schon alt trotzdem sieht es Intersant aus.

Room Service could be Improved
Very nice, charming hotel, directly located in the heritage area. Unfortunately the price does not include breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception. The room service, however, was always rather late and could be better, e.g. once they took the used towels, but did not replace them.

Not good
The access system for the rooms was not working during my stay, so the hotel staff had to open the rooms for all guests every time manually. This sometimes took very long as there is only one master key and staff is not trained in how to use it. The first room i got was flooded by water, so i was downgraded to a smaller room with one window facing a wall. There were no towels in that second room, i only received them after 1 hr waiting and asking three times. There was no attempt by the hotel to make any compensation. Staff was very unfriendly and slow. However, hotel is located in a central area which makes it possible to reach most spots by foot.

Zentraler Ausgangspunkt für alle Unternehmungen
Stadthotel gut zu erreichen. Restaurant im Haus,ebenso ein kleiner Laden. Alles war sauber und ordentlich. Sehr hilfreiches Personal an der Rezeption. Ich war sehr zufrieden und würde hier wieder buchen. Klimaanlage sehr leistungsstark. Lage ist top. Ich konnte alles gut zu Fuß erreichen, sowohl die Altstadt mit der Street Art und so. Aber die großen Einkaufstempel sind zu Fuß erreichbar..Der zentrale Bus Bahnhof ist auch gut erreichbar, so dass man überall auf der Insel hinkommt..

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Grosse Dusche/Bad und grosses Zimmer. Zimmer eher dunkel, da es nur ein kleines Fenster hat. Sehr ringhöriges Hotel, zum Schlafen sind Oropax von Vorteil!

Sehr schönes Hotel, tolle Zimmer, hässliche Stadt!
Das Hotel ist von aussen schön. Die Zimmer sind absolut top eingerichtet. Leider hatten die Hotelbar und das Hotel-Spa wegen "technischer Schwierigkeiten" geschlossen. Für meine Begriffe sah es allerdings eher dauerhaft verlassen aus... Die Stadt dagegen war sehr trostlos und extrem heruntergekommen. Es gibt in der Gegend sicherlich schönere Reiseziele.

Ein gutes Haus im stimmungsvollen Viertel der Altstadt von Georgetown. Geräumige Zimmer, einziger Schwachpunkt: kein Zimmertelefon.

zentral gelegenes modernes Hotel
Zu den Zimmern und Zimmerservice gibt es nichts zu meckern. Alles bestens. Großes, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit großem Bad. Einzig was fehlt ist ein Kühlschrank. Das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Den einzigen Abzug und daher 4 von 5 Punktengebe ich aus folgendem Grund: Bei Abreise ließ ich an der Rezeption ein Taxi für uns rufen. Es stellte sich dann heraus, dass dieses Taxi kein offizielles war und der Preis war mit 45 MYR auch zu hoch (offizieller Preis 38 MYR, mir verhandeln geht auch weniger). Da wir knapp drann waren und der Taxifahrer nicht mit sich verhandeln ließ sondern seinen "angeblichen" Chef anrief um uns zu überzeugen, bezahlten wir dann zähneknirschend den Betrag (ist in EUR ja auch nicht viel mehr). War dennoch ärgerlich und ich hätte erwartet, dass das Hotel mit seriösen Unternehmen zusammenarbeitet. Abgesehen davon gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

Gutes zentrales Hotel
Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis für die Zimmer. In unserem ersten Zimmer hat die Klimaanlage nicht funktioniert und wir haben ohne Probleme und sehr schnell ein neues und sogar größeres Zimmer bekommen. Leider waren in beiden Zimmern die Fenster sehr alt, daher kamen die Geräusche von Außen direkt ins Zimmer. Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und daher konnten wir alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichen.

The room wasnot in good condition, the walls are painted wuth different colours, the bathroom condition - MUST TO touch up. Even if you switch on air con, there is the smell of dampness, i washed some clothes and it never dried. The staff at the reception is helpful, i asked for umbrella and they helped, i asked to print some pages, they helped. The safety box in the room was closed upon arrival and i cannot use it. The breakfast restaurant is nice, on the roof top. The breakfast itself, can find the food for your choice, in general okay. The location is perfect, 10 kinutes to Komtar, few minutes to Penang street art. Few restaurants around, less small shops around, 7.11 around 10 minutes walk The only thing that they need to work on is room condition.

Hotel is in a great location, nearby plenty of restaurants and artisan cafes, walking distance to many tourist spots. Safe area to go around at night. Has a nice playground/ park just across the street. Hotel looked good from the outside, but inside it's old. Had issues with the door lock - making an alarm bec it won't close properly. Walls are thin, expect to hear your neighbors talking. Water heater and pressure was great. Bidet did not work (no water flowing). Staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, hotel is still great value for money! I recommend this hotel if you're not too particular of these cons mentioned.

雖然離清真寺很近早上會聽到念經聲，但因為念經聲很催眠，所言被吵醒又立刻睡回去，沒什麼影響。唯一美中不足的是飯店是古蹟，所以入住的時候有個不知道是什麼鈴壞了，晚上時不時的響起，幸好員工的動作還算快的關掉了。

When I first checked in, another guest managed to open the door to my room. Upon my complaint, the counter staff gave me another room. I then realized that I could even use the new room key to open the door to my old room! Good thing was that with the new room, only the designated card was able to open its door.

The hotel is very tired but considering the price it is good value for money. We arrived early and they managed to get a room cleaned up and let us check in early which was very helpful. The only complaint is our tea cups in the room were never cleaned in the 5 days we stayed there. there was a dirty tea cup when we went into our room and I washed it thinking it was an oversight. The hotel is in a great position within walking distance to restaurants, food courts, shops, shopping centres and bus terminal and ferry terminal to Butterworth. The hotel is in an excellant location to everything.

We spent three nights in the superior double room during early August 2023. The room was generously sized, although it had a slightly musty scent upon arrival. The furniture appeared aged, and there were noticeable cracks in the floor skirting throughout the room. Fortunately, the window provided a pleasant city view. The hotel's standout feature was its exceptional location, allowing easy exploration of Georgetown with its proximity to various attractions- a great choice if you enjoy discovering places on foot. Additionally, the check-in staff was accommodating and friendly. Despite us arriving well before the official check-in hours, the staff managed to provide our room by efficiently rearranging those who had checked out early.

Disappointing hotel stayed.

Outside the hotel was not very tidy/clean. Transport early in the morning to the airport was difficult to get. The hotel restaurant has been leased and there is no room service. TV stations were very limited. Cleanliness and condition of the room has improved greatly. Staff is very helpful and courteous. I will stay there again..

Great location; but very noisy.
The best thing about the hotel is its location. From the first glance, the hotel seems alright. The room is comfortable, with a decent bed and a window that opens up to a charming view of the Armenian Street heritage area. The toilet bowl doesn't seem to have been scrubbed/cleaned regularly. The shower is clean, with good pressure. The check-in process is easy and painless. Parking isn't complimentary - you have to pay RM10/day for a spot, and it's given on the first-come-first-served basis. I stayed there for 3 nights - couldn't sleep very well each night due to the noise. The rooms aren't soundproof, the walls are thin. There are facilities such as the ironing board placed at the common area outside by the atrium, and at night, as late as 1230am, you can hear from your room the sound of families chatting loudly, kids running around, and doors being banged shut.

Old hotel with old amenities.
Nice old hotel, sadly power went off every day at 7am, and it had a old woody smell and not fresh. Blood was on the walls and no hot water in the sink. Air conditioner rattled at night. Good location and nice food near hotel.
