Loved this cabin and property! Check in is super simple. The kitchen is nice and easy to use. The view is fantastic and my daughter loved the swing. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck every evening. The AC kept the house at a very comfortable temperature and there were plenty of beds for all our people. This is the 5th summer we’ve spent in Crouch and this is definitely everyone’s favorite cabin choice.

This is an excellent choice for a retreat for 4-6 people. The owner has pride of ownership which reflects well in maintenance and upkeep of the property. There are some operational glitches, but those were not so substantive that would detract from a great stay. Views and peaceful surroundings are just excellent. That said, the house rules for clean up, laundry and check out times really need to be updated. Evolve rules via email are not the same as the house rules posted inside the cabin. And, the rules posted for laundry and cleaning are not the same either - 3 different sets. These need to be reviewed so the same set of information is at each point of engagement. The kitchen is basically bare bones as far as dinnerware, serving / cooking utensils, flatware, pots, pans, etc. The skillet literally rocks due to the concave, burned bottom. There is only one, by the way. The utensils are for only 5 people, so bring your own forks? And, only 2 or 3 kitchen towels, only a couple bowls, etc.The cooking forks, spoons, etc appear to have been picked up from a bad day at a garage sale. Best to bring your own sturdy cooking implements. The coffee pot is great! Works well and plenty of coffee filters. We had a shower head literally separate from itself, but the owner replaced it within just a few hours - kuddos to the owner. Great people. The towels and wash cloths are new and very nice. The upstairs bedding leaves quite a bit to be desired.

Perfect secluded getaway

Clean, organized, comfortable and peaceful. A group of friends and I had a wonderful time relaxing, spending time together and playing games. The views are spectacular. Owners were very kind and attentive to our needs. We would definitely come back.

Girls weekend

The 6 of us had a great, relaxing time. The weather was beautiful. Enjoyed the firepit and the owners provided plenty of firewood. Suggestions to the owners: we had NO toilet paper in the bathrooms! Only one kitchen trash bag was provided and only two dishwasher tablet. We cooked our meals and definately could have used more. The gnats inside the house were aweful! Tons of them were in the bathrooms and throught the entire house.

Cozy cabin with great outdoor space

The views are amazing and the outdoor space is lovely to gather in for morning coffee and evening conversation around the picnic table or fire pit. The cabin itself is recently updated and well done with inviting decor and a charming kitchen that appaeared to be pretty well stocked. We loved the oversized sectional to snuggle up and visit with family. Beds are reasonably comfortable and the upstairs room and loft would be perfect for a family traveling with children. Though the cabin is on the smaller side the spaces are laid out and divided well so there is plenty of room for everyone and great separation of space and makes the over space feel large. Homeowner was wonderful to deal with and very responsive in providing both dining options as well as answering a few other questions that came up during our stay.

The views! Wow!

The pictures do not do justice to the views. The outdoor spaces are fantastic! We spent a lot of time around the picnic table eating & playing games. The firepit was perfect. House is roomy & comfortable. A great place to relax & the family had a great time!

Spring Break

The drive to the property is definitely for 4 wheel drive this time of year. No problem though because we knew in advance. The house is remodeled nicely and fit all 8 of us fine. It was kind of a surprise that the basement Master bedroom and bath had no heat except for a small electric fireplace and a space heater. Took awhile to make the space warm. We had to wash most dishes just so we could use them. Especially the pots and pans. Didn't have a lot to work with cooking utensil wise but we made do. There probably hadn't been a deep clean done in awhile either. We would of like to have had the walkway outside shoveled and deiced but my son in law got at least the stairs cleared. Other than that we had a great time and enjoyed the quiet relaxation and Family time. We can only imagine how beautiful this property is in the warmer months.

Gorgeous View

The location of the house was so remote and beautiful. Nestled in the pine trees with a clearing that looks over the valley of pines..this view was gorgeous! The house was spacious and well equipped. The couch was super comfortable and so were the beds.

Beautiful and Relaxing Getaway

We loved this cabin. It is far enough into the hills that you feel like it's a getaway, but close enough to town that you can run in if needed. The view from the campfire pit is beautiful and the cabin is cozy without being cramped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to rent it again in the future.

Great private location! Even better than we expected!

What a fun surprise to show up and think that the photos don’t do the listing justice…it’s typically the other way around in my experience! The property is lovely, with everything you could possibly need. Private location, beautiful views, close to water, restaurants, and golf course! We stayed here for a girls weekend getaway and everyone was charmed by this darling cabin. Highly recommend!

Family & Friends getaway

The properties location has an incredible view. The rooms were a great size. The spacious living room allowed for movie night and games. The kitchen had dishes and cutlery so we felt at home. Really recommend.

Charming Cabin with Magical views

This Cabin had everything we needed plus more. The outdoor area , and beautiful view of the valley, was very special. Everything was very clean. The cabin is located in community of Crouch which has a few restaurants, coffee shop, and grocery store. We enjoyed playing and floating down the local river. You need to take a dirt road for a bit to get to the home. We would definitely visit again.

Great place to recharge

This was the best place to go to relax and recharge as the views were amazing! Everything was clean (including the grounds) and in very good condition. Had different pots/pans to use as well as a slow cooker; once the pellet stove got going it kept the place at a comfortable temperature. The water had an odor to it but we noticed they had a water filter on the refrigerator, so we felt safe using the ice cubes (they tasted fine). They had firewood for the campfires (which we had most nights), used the charcoal grill a few times, and ate outside at the wood picnic table (also in great condition). They had set up guest profiles on the TV so that we could log into our own streaming accounts and relaxed in the comfy sofa on the day it rained. I liked that you could watch the sun rise on one side of the house/porch, then move around the corner and over to the firepit area to see a different view the rest of the day - so the views never got old. We may make this an annual trip after seeing how comfortable it was there.

Amazing little getaway!

This property and cabin are beyond charming and delightful! We all had a marvelous stay!! The cabin is so darling and spotlessly clean! The couple that own the property provided everything we needed (and more) for a beyond comfortable and equipped experience! You will not regret picking this VRBO rental!!!
