The hotel looks very nice from the outside. There are enough parking spaces available. The breakfast buffet offers many different dishes and drinks. Unfortunately, there is a very strong smell of food in the entrance area. We had a room with the windows above the kitchen. So when we ventilated it smelled like stale grease and unfortunately also at night. The room was also not very clean and a bit run down. The bathroom was rather dirty. It takes 30 minutes to walk to the centre of Galway.

Galway immer wieder...
Das Hotel ist ausserhalb der Stadt. Die Innenstadt ist sehr gut und einfach mit dem Bus erreichbar. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Zimmer wie gebucht erhalten. Frühstück sehr gute Auswahl und alles mit den Allergenen Punkten angeschrieben. Grosse Bar und feine Drinks. Schöne Sitzecken zum Verweilen. Viele Parkplätze. Gerne immer wieder.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Etwas ausserhalb. Ca.25 Min. Fussweg zur Innenstadt. Leider keine Klimaanlage. Hatten sehr schönes Zimmer, aber sehr heiss. Man stellte uns aber wenigstens einen Ventilator bereit. Leider war es morgens schon sehr früh laut, da vor unserem Fenster Waren für das Hotel angeliefert wurden.

einwandfreies Hotel
Das Hotel ist in sehr neuem und einwandfreiem Zustand, Zimmer sehr sauber, Hotelpersonal sehr nett. Parkplätze sind ebenso ausreichend direkt vorm Hotel vorhanden. Einzig der Fussweg nach Galway ins Zentrum ist mit rd. 30 Minuten nicht unbedingt komfortabel.

Empfehlenswertes Hotel mit anständigem Service
Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, das Zimmer war geräumig und ruhig gelegen (sogar bei geöffnetem Fenster). Das Frühstück war sehr gut (bis auf die Tatsache, dass ein Cappuccino € 2.70 extra kostet und es für unsere Tochter keine warme Schokolade gab), das Essen im Restaurant könnte etwas abwechlungsreicher sein. Der Service war sehr freundlich, man kümmert sich gut um die Gäste. Alles in Allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel, 20 Minuten Fussmarsch vom Zentrum.

With a new addition added to the front of the hotel, one would be led to believe this were a new fully modern hotel. However, while that was the case for the lobby and dining areas, the rooms were in the older part of the hotel and left something to be desired. While clean and remodeled, the rooms just didn't live up to the impression you get looking at the hotel from the outside. The location is also less than ideal being located on what has to be the busiest intersection in all of Ireland. Coming and going was an excersize in extreme patience. However, it is only a short drive to the heart of Galway which is wonderful.

We are truly not trying to mislead our guests and we are upset to think that this was your impression. We are also disappointed to note that you did not feel the room matched the standard of the rest of the hotel. Gut: Sauberkeit und Personal & Service
Lots of waiting time to get service at the restaurant. The kitchen is quick but for that many staff, shouldn’t be that long to get a refill on a drink

Dear Dominik, Thank you for your feedback. That particular night was especially busy for the team but that would not have been very evident to the guests dining in the bar. Nevertheless, you should have not experienced any delay whatsoever and we really do apologise that this was the case for you.
