Insgesamt ok, mit abstrichen beim Service
Insgesamt sauberes Hotel, freundliches Personal, lediglich der Hinweis, dass das Frühstück nicht im Zimmerpreis enthalten sei hätte man bereits von Anfang an angeben müssen, so musste ich im Nachhinein pro Frühstück 20€ (!) nachzahlen, da hätte ich mir eine günstigere Alternative gesucht, zumal das Obst zum Teil nicht frisch war.

Zur Durchreise.
Empfang sehr freundlich. Zuerst ein Zimmer auf den Parkplatz und in Richtung Vergnügungspark bekommen - haben jedoch gleich ein neues bekommen. Die Betten sind 1a. Sehr gut geschlafen. Alles in allem fehlt leider die Liebe zum Detail. Lobby wirkt sehr kühl. Zimmer funktional. Würde wieder buchen, auf Durchreise. Publikum eher älteres Semester. Service ist grandios!

Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und unser Zimmer war sauber - aber sehr alt eingerichtet. Der Strand vor der Tür besteht leider nur aus Steinen. Frühstück war vollkommen ausreichend und Personal sehr nett.

Preis zu hoch
Das Zimmer war so ok Ordnung. Allerdings ging das Licht nur mit Tricks und die Toilettenspülung gar nicht. Richtig repariert wurde es auf hinweisen auch nicht. Sonst ist das Hotel ganz in Ordnung. Die Lage ist schön am Meer und genügend Parkplätze waren auch vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und auch in Ordnung gewesen. Die Hotelangestellten sind freundlich. Für den Preis hatten wir allerdings vom Zimmer und essen mehr erwartet.

Das Gesamtpaket ist in Ordnung. Leider war uns nicht bewusst, dass der Rummelplatz gerade nebenan war. Musik- und Lichtbeschallung fast die ganz Nacht - da wir das Zimmer direkt auf den Rummel hatten. Gute Sauberkeit. An der Reception wurden uns auf Fragen einfach Prospekte in die Hand gedrückt - wir suchten nach einer Empfehlung für eine Teitmöglichkeit. Gut und kostenlose Parkingmöglichkeit in der Garage mit Liftzugang zum Hotel. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr gut und reichhaltig. Wir haben die 3 Tage genossen.

Great time. Good Hotel. Good Service.
It was a wonderful time in Galway. It started with a small issue with the rooms ( 1 was not available because of some issues with defect of water pipe) but Management solved the issue very fast and were very polite so it was not really a big issue for us. All the employees are very friendly. The rooms a clean. One thing for improvement: At dinner the bill was presented before we finished and wihout asking for it.This should not happen. But we would come back at any time and enjoyed the time.

Nettes Hotel am Meer, tolle Aussicht, ideal für 1-2 Nächte, professionell geführt. Wanderfreudige schaffen es problemlos in ca. 40 Minuten zu Fuss in's Zentrum von Galway.

The best thing about Galway Bay Hotel is the staff. Absolutely the best hotel staff we had on our trip around Ireland - friendly, professional, and genuine. Although they are right beside an amusement park, the windows are excellent and almost no noise came in. Very comfortable and very walkable into Galway.

May be a little far for people to walk to town but we loved being by the water. Beautiful views. You could easily Uber to town also. We would stay again.

Well sited property. My only complaint is that my room had a strange odor and not deeply clean. All staff were delightful and hardworking and my kids' room was fine.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Lovely hotel to visit, right on the coast. Positives - beds are very comfy and rooms are quiet. Live music was very good. Underground car available too. Staff are friendly and helpful. Dinner was good. Hotel is 12mins drive from Galway center. Negatives - breakfast slots need to be booked in advance, the food is mediocre & not replenished quickly. Pool is small. Parking spaces are tight.

Nice hotel with average food
Very nice hotel in a lovely location. Breakfast isn't top quality - scramble eggs aren't scrambled, the mushrooms are floating in water, nothing is replaced like the bread, salmon, cheese, sauces, etc., and for some reason you need to book a slot (we're not in Covid times anymore!). People stay in a hotel for the convenience of waking up random and eating breakfast at their leisure. It's not great being told the only slots available are 15mins or 2 hours before it closes. The dining room is massive (and was not full) so use it properly. Parking spaces are tiny but so is everywhere else in Galway! Room was comfortable but wasn't cleaned on 1 day, for an unknown reason. With check-in starting at 4pm, it wasn't like the cleaners were not around and the clean my room sign was on the door. Fortunately, the staff are nice and the bar had live music on which was good. Dinner was fine but it didn't make me want to return the second night. Reception looks nice and the hotel is spacious.

Very enjoyable stay at Galway Bay hotel. Staff were extremely helpful & friendly. The room was cozy & comfortable. The chocolates & Prosecco were a lovely touch.
