Lohnenswert
Schönes modernes Hotel mit sehr großen Zimmern und bequemen Betten. Freundliche Mitarbeiter, schneller Check in - sogar vor 15 Uhr. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Buffet + Wunschessen laut kleiner Karte. Der Pool ist groß und schön. Allerdings ist er öffentlich und täglich mit Schwimmkursen belegt. Einzig negativ ist die Lautstärke der Lüftung des Schwimmbads, welche direkt vor den Zimmerfenstern zur Hofseite ist. Man konnte das Fenster nachts nicht geöffnet lassen, weil es so laut war. Uns wurde umgehend ein Raumwechsel angeboten. Bis Galway sind es nur wenige Fahrminuten mit dem Auto.

Unterkunft war sauber. (Wasserkocher, löslicher Kaffee, Tee(schwarz),Fön, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen auf Zimmer vorhanden) Personal an der Rezeption sehr freundlich Aufzug vorhanden. Hallenbad ist wohl gleichzeitig öffentliches Bad. Es fanden dort mehrere Schwimmkurse statt. Im Wasser kann man als Erwachsener überall stehen.Kinder dürfen ab 19 Uhr nicht mehr ins Hallenbad. Keine Liegen oder ähnliches vorhanden. Duschen und Sammelumkleide vorhanden. Lage: drum herum gibt es nicht viel.Supermarkt und Bistros in der Nähe. Ca. 20 Minuten von Galway mit dem Bus entfernt.Achtung fahren nicht so viele Busse! Leap card gilt nicht! Familie (4 Personen)zahlt nach galway hin und zurück ca 22 eur

Gute Lage uns viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in direkter Nachbarschaft. Kooperierendes Hotel mit Shuttle Service zum Pferderennen in Galway. Am Wochenende oft Hochzeiten und Feierlichkeiten im Haus, daher recht laut und alles voll. Fenster lassen sich nur einen Spalt öffnen. Sehr zuvorkommend, wenn etwas nicht gut oder richtig gelaufen ist und reklamiert wurde.

Riesige, moderne Zimmer in der Nähe von Galway
Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und modern. Es ist alles da, was man brauchen kann. Das Hotel ist verbunden mit einem Fitnessstudio, riesig und mit einem großen Pool. Galway und Connemara sind sehr leicht zu erreichen. Das Restaurant ist sehr gut. Einzig das Frühstück kann ich nicht empfehlen. Obwohl man einen Teller bestellen muss, wir es wahrscheinlich schon vorher vorbereitet und wartet in der Küche auf Wärmeplatten. Das Resultat ist recht ausgetrocknet. Kaffee war nicht gut. Das nächste Mal würde ich auswärts frühstücken aber wieder in diesem Hotel gehen und meine Sportsachen mitnehmen!

Gutes Hotel im Vorort von Galway. Ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto in die Innenstadt, dafür deutlich günstiger als im Zentrum. Der Empfang war super freundlich, beim Frühstück wurden wir jedoch etwas hochnäsig behandelt. Frühstück und Zimmer waren super. Insgesamt sehr zufriedenstellend und zu empfehlen.

Sehr gutes Hotel etwas außerhalb von Galway City
Das Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb von Galway City - aber mit dem Auto sind es nur 10 Minuten bis dahin. Das Hotel selbst ist riesig und wird oft für Veranstaltungen und Hochzeiten genutzt. Wir hatten ein tolles, sauberes Zimmer mit Dachterasse, einfach perfekt. Das Frühstück ist leider nur mittelmäßig, aber für den Start in den Tag reicht es.

Tolles Hotel nahe Galway
Sehr schönes und nettes Hotel. Genug Parkplätze vorhanden. Check-In ging schnell - obwohl ich etwas zu früh dran war erhielt ich sofort ein Zimmer. Personal war sehr freundlich und informierte mich nett als ich nach einer Busverbindung in die Stadt fragte. Eine Station ist direkt gegenüber vom Hotel und die Fahrt dauert ca. 15 -20 min. Wer nicht in der Stadt etwas essen möchte, kann dies auch im hoteleigenen Restaurant tun (ich persönlich war aber nicht drin). Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und das Bett war fein. Habe sehr gut geschlafen. Check-out am nächsten Tag ging auch schnell. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel und kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

Schönes Hotel vor den Toren der Stadt
Wir waren für 4 Nächte im Hotel abgestiegen und hatten ein Doppelzimmer gebucht. Das Zimmer war sehr groß, gut ausgestattet und insgesamt auch sauber und ansprechend eingerichtet. Das Personal war freundlich, aber ansonsten unauffällig. Die Preise im Restaurant waren in Ordnung. Das Frühstück war meines Erachtens sehr gut mit einer großen Auswahl in Buffetform. Negativ fand ich, dass das Hotel auch einen Veranstaltungsraum hatte und das Restaurant auch für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich war. Insofern war in diesem Bereich ständig Betrieb, irgendwelche Firmen hielten Meetings ab und der Parkplatz war oft komplett überfüllt. Positiv: das angrenzende Wellness-Angebot mit Schwimmbad war im Preis inbegriffen. Mit dem Auto war man in ca. 15-20 Min in Galway-City, Supermärkte und andere Restaurant waren fussläufig zu erreichen. Ich würde das Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen und kann es nur empfehlen.

The food was poor and very expensive. Evening meal used frozen vegetables. Very limited on vegetarian option. Very poor service for breakfast. Didn’t bring us tea and coffee following request, and got it wrong. Cooked breakfast limited and cold, asked for baked beans and the waiter didn’t understand my request, never got what I asked for again. The view from our bedroom window looked like a rubbish tip. Large rusting pieces of metal. Smashed plant pots with dead plants and old plastic bags. The cost of the hotel was expensive when compared to other 4 star hotels that we stayed in during our Irish holiday. We complained to the manager about these issues, but she didn’t act on our complaints. This hotel definitely doesn’t deserve a 4 star rating, at best a 3, but I would give it 2 star rating!

This was such a beautiful hotel, with a great shower and comfy beds! The only downside was the lack of air conditioning. With the high temps, only having a little fan made sleeping next to impossible. Otherwise, this was a great hotel with an awesome pool!

Hotel is dated, shabby. Public areas are not particularly clean. Dirty carpets on hallways, fixtures and fittings are shabby and need replacing. Entrance not very welcoming - hard to spot where the entrance into the hotel was. Kettle in the room was leaking and caused the trip switches to short. Smoke alarm in the room was covered with a plastic bag - serious breach of fire regulations. We removed the bag covering the detector. Room overlooked a dilapidated old rooftop garden that was slowly rotting and falling apart - not very pleasant to look at. Certainly not to 4* standard. Hotel could use a complete overhaul and some investment. I wouldn’t return.
