Enjoy a stylish getaway at League Lofts 202– a centrally-located loft in historic downtown Galveston! Just a block from the best restaurants, bars and shopping on the Island, the location cannot be beat. With a king size bed in the primary bedroom and full sleeper sofa in the living room, the space comfortably sleeps up to 3 people. Whether you’re looking to spend time on The Strand, the beach, or a quick overnight before a cruise departure, this loft is the perfect home base for your trip. THERE IS NO ELEVATOR IN THIS BUILDING. IT IS ALL ONLY STAIRS!

Location: Historic Downtown area of Galveston, Texas, half mile from cruise ship terminal.

Beach access: Less than a 4 minute drive from the beaches at the Seawall.

Rent BeachBox: Looking for beach gear for your Galveston getaway? We have you covered! Beach chairs and tents can be ready at the house upon your arrival. Message us for details and rates.

WIFI: Free high-speed WIFI is available throughout the home.

Cable: We provide Roku with access to Sling TV for live television channels. Guests are welcome to log into their own Amazon Prime, Netflix, or other streaming service apps as well.

Pet policy: One pet is welcome with a $25 fee per pet. We ask that pets stay off all furniture, are cleaned up after in the yard, and aren't left alone inside the home unless in a crate or kennel. Please message us if you’re planning on bringing your furry friend!

Parking: Paid street parking options on the streets surrounding the building.

Party Policy: No parties are allowed at our home. Please look elsewhere if that is the intent of your trip.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a 3% credit card processing fee.

Age Requirement: Guests must be 24+ to book.

- One-night stays must be approved.
- Parties and events are prohibited.
- Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am.
- Paid street parking only.
- Any damages to the house or property during your stay will result in a deduction or additional charge for the resulting repair/replacement cost.
- All pets must be approved by our team, stay off of all furniture, be cleaned up after, and not left alone inside the home unless in a kennel.
- Do not turn the AC below 70 degrees. If you do, you will risk the AC unit freezing up, requiring it to thaw out which will result in the home getting extremely warm.
- Should an eviction occur due to breaking house rules (noise ordinance violations, excessive guests and/or vehicles beyond the agreed amount), there will be an $850 fine.

Relaxing Getaway

The property is an antique, with updated features. If your interests are old flooring, sinks, doors, and windows this space is exactly for you. The air conditioner worked great. The shower was perfect and the water gets very hot. The provided towels were thick and luxurious. The bed was comfortable. The 2-1 washer dryer was an added bonus. However, no elevator so be prepared to carry luggage and other belongings up the stairs. Not far from pleasure pier or cruise port. Perfect stay!

Overall as expected. It is an old building downtown, very nice ambiance for the experience I thought we were signing up for (old apartment building). I thought the couch was going to be a fold out with a bed, it was not and there were not additional sheets. I had brought my own so it wasn't a big deal, just that the 3 sleeping option is just the couch, not actually a bed. The check in and communication were great. The host was very attentive.

Great little getaway

We stayed on a weekend and worked out great parked the car and everything was with in walking distance of the apartment Was our 8year anniversary so we wanted to just enjoy our time on the island Apartment was great clean and well kept saw some people talk about it being loud on the floor well it’s 100 year old building

Beachbox Stay

We really enjoyed the location and the architecture of the old building. We also liked the visual appeal of the room and the neighbors we got to meet and have a quick chat with.The couch and bed were uncomfortable and both my wife and I had a difficult time relaxing and sleeping. Some of the windows do not have window coverings and let in a lot of light, and the blinds that cover the other windows do not close all the way and let in light.If those concerns were addressed we would stay here again. We really enjoyed being in the downtown area and walking distance from so many restaurants, art galleries, and shops.

Weekend getaway

The loft was nice overall. A few things that need improvement. Parking, check-in and the bed. Parking-We were notified a day or two before check-in that there was no onsite parking. I have never stayed in a building that did not provide parking. There clearly was parking for residents but we were not allowed access so we had an additional 60 to park in a lot a block or two away from the building. Check-in-It was made very clear that there was no early check-in, (which was fine because we planned to park and explore the are until check-in) and that we would be sent instructions at the check-in time. Well that time came and went and still no instructions so I had to call the property manage, she was very nice and was able to get us in the building and into the loft.Bed-very uncomfortableUltimately we checked-out early, the night before, because the bed was so uncomfortable.

quick getaway

Only stayed one night instead of two nights. Should have been more CLEARLY on where the first entrance is to get in the building. Had hard time finding paying park spot nearby. Although building is old which is expected, floor creaks every single time. Mattress is uncomfortable, probably because there is no boxspring underneath it and I could feel the wood rails. Couple positive notes- location is not too far from the strand at all. Beautiful decor inside. Couch could be replaced for sure.

Great location

Location is great, rental is extremely clean and as pictured. Response from owner was very prompt and helpful. Walking distance to several restaurants, bars, and shopping made things fun. The building is old and as such there are some things to consider during the stay. There is no working elevator but the stairs are wide and accessible for carrying larger items. The stairs are wooden with no runner and the noise does travel to this unit as other guests in the building move around. Also, parking is free for only two hours at a time in designated areas from 9am-6pm. Parking enforcers require vehicle to be moved an entire block away after two hours are up. We saw many people receive tickets. Paid parking lots are nearby with self pay options. The windows are all facing the street with blinds but there is a decent amount of light that will shine through from street lamps. Consider eye masks if you are sensitive to light for sleeping. Also, a sound machine might reduce noise such as church bells, other guests in the building, and any racing cars late at night. Otherwise the rental is extremely quiet. The rental is very comfortable and clean with lots of cute details. Two towels per person are provided with an extra blanket if needed. The weather was very stormy so the humidity was high, however the AC did not seem to dry out the air much so everything felt very damp. We live within 60 miles of Galveston so this was an affordable option right after the holidays.

Great place, great location

Great place in a great location, easy walk to the Strand, shopping, and great restaurants. Communication was great, and check in a breeze. Clean, comfortable place, and the kitchen has everything you need. Looking forward to staying again.

Pre-cruise weekend.

Spent two days prior to our cruise departure, enjoying Galveston. The location of our rental was in old downtown close to shopping, antique stores, coffee shops, and too many restaurants to count. There was no assigned parking for the loft, however we had no problem finding a space each time we drove to the beach area. I would totally recommend the loft with all its old time charm and updated amenities.Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

The location was awesome and the owner was great at communicating. The loft wasn’t necessarily dirty but as soon as you walk in there was an awful burnt plastic like smell that just wouldn’t go away. The biggest flaw is that the description is definitely not accurate. It says there’s a “queen bed” and a double sofa bed
 no there’s a king bed and a couch in the living room. Also we were given 2 towels for 3 people and just note that if you have more than 2 people there isnt extra linens or a blanket For them. Overall it was great for a short quick trip but they need to update the description and accommodate to the amount of people allowed!
