Welcome to Coastal Garden — a lovingly renovated 1950s Galveston bungalow built for groups who want more than a place to crash. Behind the cheerful yellow clapboard and the home's original 1950s brick fireplace, you'll find a bright, laid-back retreat that comfortably sleeps up to 14 guests across two king beds, two queen beds, and a twin bunk, foldable bed, and crib. Both bathrooms have been fully updated with contemporary electric smart toilets, complete with heated seats, auto-open, and built-in bidet functions — a small luxury guests always remember.

We didn't stop at the bedrooms. Our garage has been transformed into a fully insulated, air-conditioned game room with two arcade games, a mixed game table, a stationary bike, and a tournament-grade dartboard with electronic scoring. The living room hides a full-size Joola table tennis table (it folds away in minutes if you need the floor space) alongside a plush Rove Concept sofa bed that unzips into a near-king bed, all facing an 86-inch 4K TV with a PS5 available on request. Coastal Garden runs on solar power with three days of battery backup, so you're comfortable even if the grid isn't. Gigabit mesh WiFi covers every room, a Dyson HEPA purifier keeps the kitchen and living areas free of cooking odors, and a UV air scrubber built into the new HVAC system filters the air for guests who want extra peace of mind — including anyone staying nearby for treatment at UTMB, which is directly across the block.
