This stunning 3BR/2.5BA home offers a no-bank walk-out waterfront location on Bush Point -- known as one of the best fishing beaches in the Pacific Northwest. Cast for salmon right off your backyard with the provided fishing rods, and enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic Mountains.

Spanning two floors, this incredible home offers gorgeous ocean and mountain views in nearly every room. Outside, youll find a large, private deck and a master balcony.

When youre ready to venture out, youll be close to the excellent shopping, dining, and wine tasting at Freeland as well as the beautiful hiking trails of South Whidbey State Park.

LIVING AREA

The first-floor living area provides an inviting open floor plan with a plush couch and two armchairs. French glass doors open to the private deck, filling the space with natural light and fresh coastal breezes.

After a fun-filled day of exploring, warm up by the gas fireplace and gather around the 55' TV for a family movie night.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare your favorite recipes in the well-appointed kitchen with a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Then serve up your tasty meal at the dining table set for six, or perch at the kitchen bar for four.

BED & BATH

The primary suite features a king bed and a 30 TV. Enjoy expansive ocean and mountain views from the wide windows, or step out to the private balcony for romantic sunsets. Experience ultimate relaxation in the en-suite bathroom, where you'll find a luxe tub and TV. The bath also has a dual vanity, a walk-in shower, and a separate water closet.

The second bedroom has a queen bed and an armchair for relaxing while taking in the stunning vistas. Great for kids, the third bedroom is outfitted with a twin-over-full bunk bed, a twin bed, and a smart 24 TV with streaming capabilities. The guest bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

A half bath adds convenience.

Just 2 miles away, South Whidbey State Park offers commanding views of the Puget Sound and the majestic Olympic Mountains. Explore 3.5 miles of hiking trails amid an old-growth forest, or enjoy bird watching, clamming, and crabbing.

The local shops and restaurants of Freeland are also within a 10-minute drive. While youre there, be sure to check out Gordon's on Blueberry Hill for dinner with a view. Or stop by Holmes Harbor Cellars for wine tasting!

Relaxing with breathtaking views

Amazing home on waterfront…walk out to the beach. We’ve stayed at this home before and hope to stay again. Very comfortable and basically clean. The patio doors looking out to the beach were very dirty on the inside. It was obvious someone with young children stayed here and the cleaning crew missed all of the handprints/smudges on the glass doors. In addition, many of the lids to the cooking pans had not been washed, so we cleaned them before using. Overall excellent, the cleaning crew just needs to double check a few things before saying it’s ready for the next guests.

Spacious and Clean

The house was very comfortable and clean. Having the beach right outside was great for kids. And listening to the waves was very relaxing. The beds were comfortable. The only complaint I have was there were no black out blinds so the light wakes you up at 5:00 am.

The house and its location are amazing. The house has lots of windows looking out on the Sound. It is comfortable and well-stocked. We really like staying here. We woke up to see the cruise ship returning to Seattle.

Fun long weekend on Whidbey

Stayed here for a long weekend as a family. Location was great, we loved having the beach right in the backyard. Overall I would say it met our expectations but there were a few things from the listing that could’ve been clearer that would’ve been helpful; the listing mentions fishing poles available for use, but there are no hooks or weights so be prepared to bring your own additional supplies to use them. It also mentioned a TV in the third bedroom that wasn’t there. My other frustration was the inconsistent messaging from Vacasa. The check in email I got had one WiFi network listed, but it didn’t work. There was a separate WiFi info listed on the Vacasa portal that was accurate. I also got conflicting info about checkout process; the automated email said to do one thing and the Vacasa portal said to do something entirely different. There were some cleanliness issues that I noticed and will be messaging the host about separately. Overall, I would be likely to stay here again.

Fun Girls Getaway

Pro's - Very comfortable home that accommodated 4 of us for a girls getaway. Being on the water and the lovely views was the best part! We enjoyed watching the fishing from the shore, the boat traffic and the marine wildlife while having happy hour on the deck. Plenty of dishes, towels etc. Con's - Vacasa provided incorrect information for the internet. They gave us an unprotected connection that kept dropping. Contacting the Vacasa 1-800 number proved to be a waste of time. By luck, on day 2, while digging through drawers we found an old pamphlet with different internet information and we were able to get connected to a secure site. There is no information in the house about how to operate anything; the tv, fireplaces espresso machine etc. Overall we had a great time and would rent this place again.

Just Magical (with a caveat)

The location is just perfect and we were simply stunned by the view when we first entered the house. Windows span the length of the back of the house and the Puget Sound is so close! Absolutely magical. The house was very clean and just the right size for our family vacation, with 5 adults and one 18-month old. Our grandson couldn't get enough of playing on the beach and all the adults were captivated as well. We would definitely like to return for another stay! However, a big negative during our stay was that the wi-fi would only connect rarely, and only for a couple of minutes at a time. It is an open network and seems to be extremely weak. This was frustrating because some work issues came up and I needed to connect. I contacted the property management and they sent me the network name and password several times. I replied in confusion because one doesn't need a password for an open network. Finally, they sent some other tips and agreed that the password wasn't necessary. However, nothing worked to improve the connection for any of us, for the entire 3 days we were there. They offered to schedule a maintenance call, but we didn't want to deal with that during our vacation. I saw that other guests complained about the wi-fi, so we're not the first who had a problem. It would be great if the owners would provide a secure and stronger wi-fi network for their guests.

Bush Point 2024

We have stayed at this property multiple times over multiple years because of the great location and beach front with easy access. The house while not overly large has an open floor plan and works for multiple generations and groups of up to 8 people. Now for the extremely negative experience of this year. Upon arrival I found that the basic supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap for bathrooms, dishwashing tablets, washing machine soap were either non existing or only in a quantity to last a day or two. Not for our 5 day stay for 7 adults and 1 17 year old teen. Immediately notified Vasca management of the basic supplies situation and later that day, 2 paper towel rolls, 2 liquid dishing soap, and 1 hand soap. No toilet paper, no dishwasher tablets, and no washing machine soap as requested. There is not adequate silverware for 8 people for one meal, no teaspoons etc. We brought plastic silverware and paper plates because this was an issue last year also. I addressed the shortages of basic supplies two more times was told since all basic supplies had been provided I would need to supply more myself. Normally the toilet paper shortage could be resolved but because the house is on septic system that special paper is not readily available to comply with signage posted. guests should not be expected to spend their limited time shopping when we come for the beach time. In the future, I will definitely consider all these negatives before booking again!

Bush Point Bliss September 2023

This house definitely has the best beach front location and wonderful views of marine traffic and beautiful sunsets. The access to beach and water is just a short walk across the sand from the deck. We’ve stayed here on four different occasions and this visit was the only one having keypad and door licking issues that took quite a bit of time and effort to resolve. Also it would be nice if owners would upgrade the blinds in master bedroom and the queen bedroom to ones that can’t be seen through.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Great view and location. Good house with a few issues that need attention.

Views are amazing, and the house interior was clean and in good shape. The layout is great for a family with kids who are old enough for bunk beds. Great beach access from the back door. There were some issues, though. The back door can’t be locked or closed from the inside, which is a security issue and inconvenience. The sliding screen doors don’t slide because they’re full of sand. The gas fireplace fan grinds really loudly. There’s no coffee grinder, which was surprising for a house that advertises a well-appointed kitchen. The listing description isn’t very detailed and in some cases is inaccurate (fire pit is listed as amenity, but listing also says it’s not for guest use? AC was listed, but now has a line through it. Vacasa wasn’t helpful on the property management side. Overall, I’d come back enthusiastically if some basic issues were addressed.

Fabulous for Families with Older Kids

This is a beautiful home on a spectacular beach. We were able to watch ships, seals, seagulls, and sunsets, plus a bald eagle plucking a fish from the water right in front of us. Our grandchildren delighted in the rocks, shells, and sea glass. It's magical. We were dismayed to find that there was no air conditioning, although we believe they have corrected the listing to state that since our stay and that they now provide fans. There is a lovely upstairs window seat, but it is a simple climb to the adjacent low wall overlooking the bottom of the switch-back staircase, 16 steps down, so we had to make it off-limits to our one- and three-year-olds who love to climb and could easily go over the edge. The stairs are carpeted, but the floor at the bottom of the stairs is stone tile, so a padded rug at the bottom would have been a welcome touch when renting to a family with children. The upper deck off the master bedroom has about a two-inch gap between the rail at the bottom of the panel facing the street, but it increases to a six- or seven-inch gap when the deck wraps around to face the water, which was not safe for our little ones. If you have small children, this might not suit your needs, otherwise, it's great as long as you read all of the Vacasa rules and restrictions, realizing there is no wiggle room. Our daughter's friend who was on the island for two days was not allowed on the property to share a meal or even use the bathroom. Even so, it could be perfect for you!
