Lovely place. It was perfect for our girls' trip long weekend. The rooms were so spacious and tastefully decorated. It was also super clean and had everything we needed, including for our night staying in with Door-dash to binge watch a couple Netflix series. The coffee lover in our group was so appreciative of the supplies and setup. The location is fabulous for walking the Creek Park, or to dinning and shopping options. We're looking forward to making this our Christmas present to each other every year,

We were greeted with a note from the previous guests complaining there was only half a roll of toilet paper for the whole place. Then realized the maid did not show up so nothing was cleaned and the beds hadn't been stripped. Spent hours washing sheets and towels. Owner said sorry and that we would be reimbursed. Then the night b4 Thanksgiving new guests showed up - the place was double booked, asked to have lock code changed never heard from the owner. The unit below us had also been doubled booked. The owner apologized and said again we would be reimbursed - since we had to go out and buy toilet paper and paper towels. We left place as clean as possible and did most of laundry b/c didn't want next guest to go through what we did...guess what...never reimbursed. Keep looking - this place is not worth the hassle - unless you like cleaning, being ignored, having strangers interrupt your night by barging into the house and knowing there are people who have the code to your place and can come in at anytime.

Our host, Emyli, was LOVELY and sooo WONDERFUL. She helped us in many ways including being so responsive in answering our frequent questions about the home.We have often been told when renting from a different rental company that the property is "a short walk" to main features of the town and then found out that the short walk was a LONG walk, often uphill and not at all what we expected. The short walk from Emyli's property was AMAZINGLY short. Many times a day we walked to and from our rental along the beautiful Carroll creek. Everything about the home was beautiful. Kitchen and LR were much bigger than shown in the photos, clean and really nicely redone. The dining room table was a standout. The top was wood that had been artistically & beautifully painted. As a builder of single family homes in Bethesda, I could appreciate the modern kitchen appliances and that both bathrooms were HUGE, each w/ two sinks AND all bedrooms had walkin closets. My husband likes a softer mattress and I like a harder one, but both of us completely enjoyed the bed. The mattress was soooo comfortable and the black out shades on the windows were GREAT. There was nothing to be disappointed about. It was ALL better than we even hoped for. Thank you especially to Emyli who insured that our visit was a wonderful one. We are looking forward to booking again.

Very nice stay.The backyard where we parked is a bit rough looking, and we're glad it didn't rain as walking from the car to the house is over rather thin grass/dirt. Overall impression was that it was nice but wouldn't call it luxury. Very spacious for a one-level 3-bedroom unit. The host let us know that the cleaner was rushed so there were clean towels in the dryer for us and left bedding in the washer to wash "next time" without even considering that we'd want to do our own laundry during our stay. The place was surface cleaned. There was a tank top in the drawer, makeup under one of the beds, and LOTs of crumbs and food in the couch. It felt overall fixed up but in the cheapest way possible. The flooring was cut too short in parts and didn't always make it under the baseboards. The bathroom fixtured looked nice but were really cheap, the master bath shower door almost fell off, and the furniture in general was either stained, rundown or very uncomfortable. It looked as if the place was furnished from a thrift shop or college dorm. The toaster would toast but you had to hold down the lever the entire time. There was filtered water and ice built into the fridge but the filter needed to be replaced. On the bright side, the AC worked really well, it felt secure, and it is super walkable to downtown Frederick.

Overall stay was great, everything was as advertised. We had an issue in one of the bathrooms but it was resolved the next morning, it was well stocked with the necessities and few extras. The host was very quick to respond. The only issues/concerns was the bed in the master, was not quite sure what I slept but it was not a conventional mattress, so I would suggest them getting a actual queen size mattress. The orher issue we had was insects in one of the bedrooms no roaches or bed bugs just random insects, it maybe where that room is located or some hole somewhere, we bought some bug spray and were fine. Location is also great!

Just Married!

My now wife and I stayed in this spacious 3-bed apartment for our long wedding weekend! We needed a place that could be ours for a few days while also providing some space for the bridesmaids to get ready and it did wonders! Location is only a couple blocks from the main downtown streets and Carroll Creek and the hosts were communicative and accommodating. Thank you!!

Great Location

The property looks kind of shabby from the rear, but the inside has been modernized and was extra clean. The kitchen was gorgeous. There are a few places where wear and tear were beginning to show and might need some attention. The bedding was adquate, but not luxury, and the light above the sink in guest bath didn't work. Nor did the toaster in the kitchen. So, minor things that just need a little TLC. But as to location, it couldn't have been better for our purposes. We were going to a concert at Weinberg Center, and also were interested in local history and local food. About a 2-3 block walk to everything, with very safe feeling surroundings. The front door keypad was of a type we'd not seen before, but check-in instructions instructions were good, and once mastered, it was a breeze coming and going. I should note that the Gaithers Alley behind the residence is where you can park, but can only be entered from the west end...it doesn't go though to Ice Street. Not knowing that, we had to loop back around a few blocks to find the entry. After parking, we never had to drive anywhere.Also, this is not a handicap accessible residence. You need to climb stairs to get into it. Not a factor for anyone in our party, but worhty of mention for others considering it.
