Gut: Lage
Be very careful on the stairs!!! They're slanted, very narrow and the carpet is very slippery in bare feet!!!Also, one of "the beds" is a fold out couch.

The stairs to the bedroom are very steep, if you have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night you have to go downstairs half asleep down the stairs.

Sports Travel

We traveled to DE for a sports tournament and loved the location of this property. It is a quick 10-minute drive to the DE sports complex and within walking distance of JP Wharf's restaurant. This property is newly renovated and is beautiful inside. Full kitchen, laundry, and AC made for a nice break after games. We will try and rebook for our tournament.

Perfect weekend getaway

Walking distance to JP's Warf and neighborhood pub. Third Friday band in the adjacent yard, Saturday night JP's had a Taco truck that was amazing and a separate truck with beer/drinks and live music. Sunday saw Jackson Dean at the State Fair only 20 minutes away.

Read other reviews stating that this unit was close to DE Turf. It was about 18 minutes away. Not quite as close as I thought. Pictures do not really look like the actual property. It is old and the stairs should not be permitted. They are tiny and dangerous. The unit was not clean. The sheets were in the washer, the soap containers in the shower were completely empty. My teenage son, who is NOT picky at all, thought the place was so unclean and would not sleep on the couch after seeing the dirty Q-Tip's laying on it. The listing says 2 bedrooms, which is correct. One bedroom has a couch that pulls out. When I messaged the host about having no sheets and no soap, he never responded. I reached out to VRBO. The host did not respond to them either, but the next day he responded but did not apologize or act like it was a problem to have no soap and no sheets when you get in late and need to shower and sleep. Would 100% NOT recommend this property. It does NOT look like the pictures. I assume they were taken years ago when it was very clean.

The place was clean and easy check in. Unfortunately there was no hot water! The dishwasher was running continuously and would not shut off. The water has a foul rotten egg smell, fortunately there was bottled water provided for drinking. The owner did not respond to our message about the dishwasher and no hot water. Two days of cold showers was not pleasant.
