While our island may look different as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds from Hurricane Ian, we can assure you that the beach is as spectacular as ever and all of our homes have been approved and inspected to meet your family's needs. We are Fort Myers Beach Strong and will be better than ever!
Bay Village 222 is a lovely, air-conditioned two bedroom, two bath vacation condo in the island community of Bay Village located on the residential, south end of Fort Myers Beach. Sitting on a salt water inlet fed by waters of Estero Bay, Bay Village offers the natural, quiet beauty of the Back Bays (relax to the sights and sounds of fish jumping and the many tropical birds) while just a short walk to the gorgeous sugar white sand beaches and turquoise waters of the Gulf.
The thoughtfully designed floorplan features an open concept that offers wonderful views of the Back Bay inlet. The Living Space is filled with comfortable furniture, a huge TV and loads of charm. The decor is a salute to island living at its best. There's a large glass topped Dining Table for 6. There's a fully equipped, remodeled Kitchen with new appliances and a delightful Breakfast Bar where you can sit and enjoy your first cup of coffee and plan out your day. In this condo, the Lanai has been improved to an all weather room...close the glass doors to keep your Lanai air-conditioned or open to use the screening and let in the Gulf breezes.
Indulge in peaceful slumber within our two inviting Bedrooms. The Master Bedroom En Suite offers a luxurious King Sized Bed, enveloping you in comfort, and dressed in designer linens. There's a TV for late night viewing and a gorgeous view of the Back Bay. A remodeled En Suite Master Bath features a Walk In Shower and a large vanity. The Guest Bedroom is equally delightful, featuring a Queen Sized Bed with fresh linens and its own En Suite Guest Bath with a tub/shower combo. Both Bedrooms have spacious closet space, ideal for storing luggage and personal belongings. For those with additional guests, the Living Room provides a convenient sleeper sofa, offering a comfortable sleeping arrangement for friends or family members spending the night at the condo. Hotel style five star linens and towels complement our comfortable surrounds so you can unwind and relax in style.
There is a washer/dryer in the condo so no need to go home with dirty laundry! For your convenience, there is free wifi in the condo, ample on-site free parking in the covered parking spot 222 and additional guest parking. PLEASE NOTE: THE CONDO IS LOCATED ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND STAIRS ARE REQUIRED. The building elevator is being repaired and is scheduled to be operational March 2025. Beach chairs, cooler, tennis rackets and beach wagon are supplied and waiting for you in the storage room. There is a STRICT NO SMOKING, NO PETS policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.
Amenities of Bay Village include a Resort Sized Heated Pool with Sundeck and lounge chairs to soak up the Florida sunshine and a fishing dock. Tennis Court (which has been lined off for Pickleball play) is being repaired with new fencing and is not open yet.
The amenities are balanced with the natural beauty of sand and surf on the Gulf and the tranquility of the Back Bay, a stopping point for the migration of the rare white pelicans and roseate spoonbills. You are just steps from the Pier on the grounds of Bay Village where you can fish, or sit and relax. And you are just a short walk across Estero Boulevard to the nearby Beach Access where one of the best beaches in the country await for you to make family memories that will last a lifetime.

Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer, including our world famous sunsets.
Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples. Scheduled to re-open January 2025, Santini Marina Plaza, just across the street, will offer you restaurants, bars, shops and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays! The island's major supermarket, Publix, is open, as is Snook Bite Marina with its two lively restaurants on the Bay, and is just a 2-mile drive away.
This vacation home's ideal location offers easy southbound access to the mainland. The quiet, south end of the island is the perfect place to enjoy the true island lifestyle.
