Welcome to Holiday Shores Cottage, one of the last remaining true "beach cottages" on the island. This two bedroom/two bath charming cottage comfortably accommodates up to 6 people where you can create your own unforgettable family memories.

PET FRIENDLY! BRING THE WHOLE FAMILY INCLUDING YOUR DOG! (Dogs only allowed with prior owner approval for an additional $250 fee. Two dogs max. 50 lbs max. per pet) The cottage has a fenced yard. Dogs must be leashed when walking or on the beach. Town requires pet owners to clean up after their dogs in public and private areas. Approximately 7 miles south of Fort Myers Beach, the Lovers Key Dog Beach is an off-leash beach located at the southern edge of Lovers Key State Park. It offers shallow Gulf waters for dogs to play, though it is unfenced and requires close supervision.

The decor is coastal casual in this lovely mid-island, waterfront retreat that has been completely remodeled with the owner's attention to detail resulting in comfortable and stylish accommodations that offer you and your family the perfect beach vacation experience. Follow the road down to your private beach access (short stroll) straight to the shoreline to enjoy everything that life on the Gulf will bring to your door - bird watching, dolphin watching, shell collecting, fishing, soaking up the sun or just walking the 7 miles of pristine, what sandy beach. And don't miss our world famous sunsets!

Your vacation starts the minute you pull up in the driveway. Three outside oasis spots greet you and offer you the opportunity to entertain your family and guests - the covered back patio area where everyone can gather while enjoying the cool sea breezes and serene water views of the canal; the side yard patio area where you can sip your favorite drink and soak up the warm Florida sunshine; and via steps up to a front deck with a picnic table where everyone can dine alfresco with a lovely water view.

The elevated, open floor living space - kitchen, dining and living areas - offers you a relaxed, beautiful and inviting space filled with natural sunlight from a wall of windows with wonderful waterfront views. There is a large dining table to accommodate the family with plenty of seating! The spectacular, newly remodeled kitchen is a dream with new appliances and a huge island with seating for 4. The living area is filled with cozy furnishings, creating the perfect family space to unwind after a day at the beach. There's a large screen TV with cable TV service so you won't miss your favorite shows. Another great feature of this vacation home is the corner desk setup. Free Wifi allow you or anyone in the family to handle what's needed to work remotely so the whole family can vacation longer! In the far corner of the living space, there is a Queen-sized sleeper sofa to accommodate two overnight guests.

The Master Bedroom features a King-Sized Bed, a ceiling fan, and a lovely closet. The En Suite Master Bath has been completely remodeled with a beautiful, tiled Walk In Shower. The Guest Bedroom has 2 Twin Beds and a ceiling fan. There's a stackable washer and dryer for your convenience...so no going home with dirty clothes! The Guest Bath is next door and has also been newly remodeled with a huge Walk In Shower.

Since the Cottage sits on the canal, you can fish all day from your own dock! You have canal access with a dock right in your own backyard. You're welcome to tie off your boat (please note: the boat lift is currently not in working order) Whether you're planning a day of boating or just sitting by the water, it's all right here. The canal leads directly to Estero Bay and then you are minutes to the Gulf. You can rent a boat from Snook Bight Marina next door!

This home has parking for up to three large vehicles and includes everything you need for a comfortable stay: central air conditioning, high-speed WiFi, a washer and dryer, fresh linens and beach towels, and beach gear for easy days at the shore - beach chairs, boogie boards, coolers, beach wagon and umbrellas. There is also a BBQ grill for your use.

There is a STRICT NO SMOKING policy which has been implemented for the health and comfort of all guests and the owner.

And of course, best of all, is you are just a short walk to the end of the street to your private beach access. If you love the beach, you won't find a better vacation home for your family to make cherished memories. Sun, sand and surf await you at one of the country's top 10 beaches. Enjoy 7 miles of beautifully restored, white sugar sand beach - watch the dolphins play, swim, fish, collect seashells, bird watch, go for a pleasure walk or healthy run, play at all kinds of water sports...and don't miss our world famous sunsets!

Holiday Shores Cottage is located mid island, one block from grocery shopping, 2 lively waterfront restaurants and a marina for boat, wave runner or paddle board rentals.

Island times are back again! You will find food trucks, restaurants and bars opened, live music, fresh "pink gold" shrimp, and all the natural splendor this tropical island paradise has to offer.

Take the short ride by car or the island trolley to the north end of the island to Times Square, Margaritaville, Old San Carlos Boulevard with loads of new restaurants (and some old favorites), food trucks, bars and Bayside Park. Also at the north end of the island sits Bowditch Point Park with its turtle walk and lively beach where all the boats pass on their way out to the Gulf. You can choose to go south to Santini Marina Plaza (Now open, Santini Marina Plaza will offer you shops, restaurants, bars and a marina, where you can rent a boat or kayak and explore the Great Blue Waterway and mangrove back bays!) or Lovers Key State Park, where you can hike along nature trails, canoe or kayak along estuaries and bicycle amidst the mangroves or further south to exclusive shopping centers in Bonita and Naples.

We would like to note that there is still construction occurring on the island as Fort Myers Beach rebuilds. Beach renourishment has been completed and the beaches are more beautiful than ever. Your vacation home has been renovated and inspected prior to your arrival.
