- keine Resort-Gebühren (wie leider mittlerweile in vielen US-Hotels üblich) - keine Parkgebühren (kostenloser Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel, auch wenn das Hotel versucht, kostenlose Parkplätze für 30 USD pro Tag zu verkaufen) WIFI/Internet 13 Euro pro Tag, dafür einen Punkt Abzug. Ansonsten alles sehr gut.

I paid nearly $400 to stay close to my Port which worked best for my party & me. We ate at the hotel several times & drank lots of beer, tips & mixed drinks. I asked about free breakfast & since I'm not a Marriott member we have to pay for breakfast. This is our 2nd year staying here & it will be our last!

The location was convenient and close to restaurants and beach. The lobby was nice, open and airy. The pool had debris in it, leaves at the bottom. The jacuzzi had a green tone and low on water. Appeared unclean; lacked chlorine and young children were in there without supervision of their parents and staff said nothing. The biggest problem for me was that on our last night there, we came back to the room after all day at the beach, tired and sweaty, and our key did not work. We tried several times with both keys. I went down to the desk and the woman there (cannot remember her name), said she reset it and told me there is a phone at the elevator upstairs to call from next time. Well, I went back to the room and it still didn't work. So I called from upstairs hall and she said she would send maintenance. So we waited for maintenance. He came and couldn't fix it right then, because it needed a battery. So we were displaced form our room for about 45 min. Went to sit out at the pool until it was fixed. Again, frustratingly, another child in the jacuzzi. And the parking was too expensive! All in all, just an average stay.

For the price this once very nice hotel was showing its age. Vinyl furniture was peeling, paint and decor looking very aged. The room was average size, extremely dark and it was difficult to see where our items were in the room because of bad lighting and almost black furniture. Nice hotel. Handicap bathroom needs repair.
There was a problem with our confirmed reservation which took a couple of hours to resolve and get us into our room. The night clerk did not have the in depth knowledge or computer authority to fix it and there was no manager on duty. It was finally resolved and we got into our room. The shower in the handicap room flooded the bathroom floor with each shower. The sink was loose from the wall. Definite safety issues! On the plus side, the room was clean, fragrance free, and the bar/lounge food was good. The bed was a lower height, which is great for arthritic hips and legs. There were plenty of pillows and the duvet cover kept us at just the right temperature at night. The mattress was comfortable, but not the same as my latex one at home. I did not expect it to be, but I was hoping for a little more plushness. While I can recommend this hotel, I cannot recommend the handicap room with the rolling shower due to the flooding of the floor after showering. That is a safety hazard that needs to be properly fixed right away.

Hotel is tired. Check in staff were excellent. Bartender/waiter in bistro at night clearly had better things to do than serve customers. The gentleman that actually brought the food was terrific. Pretty sure out g&ts were watered down.
