The Space

Welcome to Lauderdale by the Sea! You may first notice the beautifully landscaped front porch, leading you to the front door. Upon opening the door, you'll feel welcomed by the comfortable and homey living room. A large sectional sofa, Sling T.V., and decorative pieces make this common area great for relaxing with the group. Next, you'll see the dining room table that offers seating for six and a T.V. for playing your favorite playlist while you cook and dine.

In the kitchen, you'll find even more seating. With four barstools on one side and two on an island, everyone will have a spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal. The spacious kitchen has modern, upgraded appliances, and plenty of counter and cabinet space. The kitchen is lit up with the natural light that pours in from the doors leading to the patio.

Open the doors and immediately notice the gorgeous inviting pool and outdoor table with six chairs that allow for dinner al fresco. This private patio is the perfect place for enjoying the sun with family and friends. Before jumping in, check out the bedrooms.
The Master bedroom, located just outside of the dining room, has both a couch and a desk/workspace, making the bedroom functional and great for remote working. The King-sized bed, dressed in high-quality bedding, is made for a good night's sleep and easy mornings. The bedroom also has a T.V., access to the patio, and a huge walk-in closet with built-in storage.

The ensuite bathroom is clean, spacious, and even equipped with a bidet. The double sink vanity and cabinets offer space for unpacking all your toiletries. You'll also find a large and luxurious bathtub and a separate shower.

The second full bathroom has a shower/tub combination and the same luxury design. Walk down the hallway to find a linen closet and bedroom 2, which has a Queen-sized bed, a small T.V, and a large window that brightens the space. Enjoy closet space and an ensuite full bathroom, making bedroom 2 a perfect suite for a couple or kids.

Bedroom 3 has two full beds in matching beachy bedding sets. There is also a closet in this bedroom.

The door in the kitchen leads to a one-car garage for your convenience.

Neighborhood Overview

Lauderdale-by-the-Sea, a laid-back and quaint beachy spot in Ft. Lauderdale is a great spot to vacation if you're looking for beach activities, proximity to city life, and beautiful views. Located just 10 miles from Ft. Lauderdale and roughly 30 miles from Miami, you can easily venture out or enjoy the nearby attractions.

Beach-goers will feel serene at just the sight of the golden soft sand and movement of the waves. Head to the Datura Avenue Portal for the Shipwreck Snorkel Trail that boasts a vibrant coral reef and amazing marine life. You may find lobster, eels, stingrays, and even nurse sharks during your trip underwater!

For another snorkel trip, dive down to the SS Copenhagen with a local dive charter. About 25 feet deep, this snorkeling spot can lead you to discovering the anchor, donkey boiler, and cargo boom.

If you'd prefer to stay above water, head to the oceanfront district's Anglin Square. Colorful, lively, and fun, this area has delicious restaurants and shopping for everyone. Enjoy live music every Wednesday and Thursday and D.J sets on Fridays and Saturdays at 7 PM. For an open-air bar and seafood platters, check out 101 Ocean. As for dessert, make sure to stop by 4D Gelataria.

If curious kids are part of your group, everyone will love the Museum of Discovery and Science. With interactive exhibits, educational presentations, and even an on-site IMAX 3D theater, this museum has it all. A virtual ride through the Everglades awaits you!

All guests must sign our rental agreement as mandated by Florida Law.

The minimum rental age is 25. A picture ID must be provided to the company no less than 72 hours before arrival.
An accurate guest count must be provided
No parties or events. If unauthorized persons are discovered on the premises, guests will be subject to additional fees and/or immediate eviction
Quiet time is from 10pm - 8am
No smoking or vaping. If evidence is discovered of either smoking or vaping, the guest will be subject to a fine of up to $1,000
If you have little ones we offer a Baby bundle: Pack-n-play with a thicker mattress & a high chair for $65 per stay. Baby bundles must be requested and paid 48 hours prior to your reservation start date.
Please note that our vendors, landscaper and pool cleaner (If applicable), visit our homes at least twice a week for service. Our vendors will never enter the home and have permission to work outside.
Commercial vehicles may be approved by management. Please inquire if you would like to bring your commercial vehicle.
The property must be locked and secured when guests are not in it.

Mail:
Guests may not receive mail at this location or at our office. Any mail received will be RETURNED TO SENDER. We cannot accept responsibility for helping you to recover any lost mail or packages.

Cleanliness:

This property is not corporate-owned. It belongs to an individual, just like you. Please treat this home with the respect and courtesy it deserves and leave it in the same excellent condition as you found it.
We welcome quiet couples and families in all of our rentals. Please note that no parties of any size, events, or conferences are permitted in this property. If we discover that guests have violated this rule, we reserve the right to immediately evict all persons on the property and/or assess a fine.
If the property is left exceptionally dirty, such as perishable foods left in the kitchen, dirty dishes in the sink, furniture rearranged, or trash not taken out, we may assess an additional fee of up to $500.

Pet Policy:

This property is dog-friendly with an additional fee, per pet, for stays less than 30 days. While staying with us, you are responsible for the actions of your pet. Please keep your dog(s) off the furniture and pick up all waste. All waste should be bagged and disposed of in the outside trash bin. Failure to comply with our Pet Policy will result in an additional $100 fee. Please let us know if you will be bringing your dog (only dogs are permitted, sorry).

Late Checkout:

Please note that check-out time is promptly at 10am. This is so that our housekeeping staff may prepare the property for the next guest. If you need additional time, contact us immediately and we'll try to accommodate you, though this cannot be guaranteed.
If you fail to check out by 10am, you will be charged half of the nightly rate for the property. Failure to vacate the property at the agreed-upon check-out time is considered trespassing.

Same-Day Bookings:

Same-day bookings with no past Airbnb reviews are subject to additional scrutiny and require approval from the company. We will ask you to provide information on your group and the purpose of your stay.
If your stay is approved, we require a government-issued ID for identity verification. Your phone number must match the phone number on your Airbnb account or we will not be able to honor your reservation.
Same-day reservations will not be accepted after 2:00pm. All same-day reservations require at least 3 hours before check-in. We may have to extend check-in time to later than 4:00pm.

Internet/Cable:

The company is not responsible for outages by Internet and Cable companies. While we regret the interruption and inconvenience, we have no control over internet or cable issues.
The same way these providers do not reimburse us for their equipment failures or outages, we cannot accept accountability or offer refunds or reimbursements to guests.
Copyright Infringement:

Absolutely no illegal downloads. We will charge $50 if discovered.

Privacy:

This property is equipped with security cameras on the outside of the property. These cameras are using during the check-in process to verify identity and guest count. If there is an incident, we will review the footage. There are no cameras inside any property.

Starter Supplies
We provide enough trash bags, paper towels, toilet paper, and other home items for about 3 days of use. Beyond that, it is the responsibility of the guest to replenish these items.

This stay has such a clean and cozy “home” feeling. The neighborhood is quiet, friendly and well kept. We did have an air conditioning issue but it was resolved quickly. We will definitely come back and stay again in the future!

We love this home! Each stay is more special than the last. Ocean Mist is the perfect name. We enjoyed hanging out in the spacious and well decorated T.V. area and sharing family meals and games at the comfortable dining table. The public beach is a block away-beautiful sunrises and evening swims! Looking forward to our fourth stay!

We had a great time in Ft Lauderdale by the Sea - house was big, clean and as nice as advertised. Had common problem of AC not fully cooling the house - luckily the weather was generally pleasant. Only negative that should be mentioned is management company has rather intrusive background and information requirements they claim are needed for their credit card processor - it’s quite a hassle.

We loved everything about the property! The kitchen was magnificent among many other great features - comfortable lounging area, great outdoor pool and an upscale neighborhood within walking distance to the beach and a block from the grocery store. Can’t wait to go back!!
