Our room smelled like an old pet shop filled with wet dogs. Front desk promised a room that was NOT given to guests with pets. After entering a room, we knew immediately that was not true. I returned to the front desk and the employee just said, "that's not a pet room, the smell must be because it just rained." The smell was overpowering. Guests without pets can smell that in a heartbeat, so stop offereing rooms that are "pet free".

The AC system wasn’t working properly, the air wasn’t circulating and the room felt stuffy all night. The grab and go breakfast was a stale muffin, an old granola bar and coffee. The only staff person at the counter was stressed out, loudly yelling at someone on the phone then rushing around doing everything else, but attending to guests.

My two night stay was perfect except for two things. The carpet was old and brownish color so I couldn't tell if it was clean. Second, my room faced I-75 and traffic noise was ever-present, delaying the time I fell asleep.

The location is ideal. Centralized to just about everything. Quiet enough. Kitchenettes, full size refrigerators, microwaves, double stove tops, plenty of cabinet space, closets, large chests of drawers, excellent internet connection for streaming, multiple options for room lighting, plenty of electrical outlets, heavy duty drapes (total blackout) comfortable beds, (no bugs!) very clean and the staff are quick to hell you with any requests. Considering the current economic inflation, the price for your stay is reasonable, acceptable. Overall, I give this particular Extended Stay America location 5 Stars. The Florence, Turfway Rd, Extended Stay America is most satisfactory. Thank you ESA, I could not have done what I needed to do at a price I could afford, without you. 12/03/2023

The hotel was in a good location and it was clean besides a stain in our bed sheets the poor breakfast coffe is literally water it says light coffee but it was terrible our bathtub was broken the water took more than 20 min to go down besides that it was alright you get what you pay for I guess

The room was bad but the service was good
I didn’t end up staying at the hotel because the room had an overpowering foul smell. The clerk was very friendly and helpful. Ultimately, I only spent about 30 minutes in the room before asking for a new room or a refund. No other room was available so he refunded my money.

One night stay
Check in clerk was pleasant and friendly. He helped me connect to Wi-Fi so I could use my GPS to get to my event that evening. Room was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. Only negative was how small the bathroom was. Clean and updated but small. Close to many restaurants and about 3 minutes from the Turfway Casino. Many dept stores in the area as well. Easy access to I-71 & I-75 interchange.
