„Stay for 2 nights were relaxing and comfy. Very clean, plenty of towels and appropriatly stocked kitchen. Beds wers soft yet supportive and plenty of pillows. Overall one of the best little cabins we've stayed in. 10/10.“

„This home was the perfect setting for a long weekend in Natchitoches. The location was ideal, right on the Cane River and walking proximity to shops and restaurants. The home was well-appointed with ample space for cooking, dining, and lounging. We loved the back deck with comfortable furniture, big-screen TV, hot tub, swing, and a beautiful view of the river. The host was extremely responsive and catered to all our needs. “

„What a wonderful spot on Caney Lake. House and boat house were amazing! Absolutely gorgeous and had everything you need for the lake. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you need to cook with. Hot tub was amazing, fireplace outside was too cool, dock was to die for. Also Carley, the owner, was wonderful’. I could go on and on about this little slice of heaven, just know it was perfect!“

„Overall the cabin was clean. The road to get to the cabin was dirt, and therefore when it rained was only accessible by a truck. I would think that would be acknowledged on the description, due to the amount of rainfall in Louisiana. The cabin was lacking in several “luxury” things. Wi-Fi was not working, I had to go and purchase coffee mugs to enjoy a cup of coffee, and the bugs did not just stay outside (due to gaps under the doors and around the window A/C units). "Als erstes entsprach weder der Innen- noch der Aussenbereich den Bildern von der Homepage. Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber, Boden klebte u.a. Es hatte weder genügend Frottewäsche, WC Papier oder Duschseife (Dispenser war vorhanden aber nicht aufgefüllt. Die gelobten luxuriösen Matratzen waren durchgelegen und die Leintücher verschliessen und fleckig. Das Frühstück war auch für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr schlecht und lieblos. Das Personal eher gelangweilt. Diesem Hotel fehlt eine gute Führung und die Liebe zum Detail. Ein paar alte Möbel machen noch lange kein Boutiquehotel!!! Der einzige Pluspunkt ist die zentrale Lage."

"Das Hotel ist aus den 1850er Jahren und insbesondere das Entre sowie die allgemein zugänglichen Räume im Untergeschoss noch wie früher eingerichtet und sehr schön. Leider gibt es Abstriche bei der Sauberkeit rund um das Gebäude und in den Zimmern. Insbesondere sollte man nicht unter das Bett schauen. Das Frühstück ist kein Highlight... "
