„We pulled up, parked on the street in front of the house and walked up to the porch. Our kids were so excited to stay at this gorgeous house. So were we, actually. We entered the inviting living room and the kids sat down to play chess immediately. We wandered through the house, admiring all of the fabulous woodwork and other time period details. The home was so welcoming and like stepping back in time. We loved it! We showered in the claw-footed tub, did laundry in the washer and dryer and ...

„Our second time here and there will be many more times I’m sure. Love this house! As you walk in there is a grand staircase , you turn and there is a living room with furniture befitting the era of the house. The grand piano is another great touch. The woodwork is amazing. That’s just the beginning as every corner of the house is full of beauty and grace of a time long gone by.Highly recommend!“

„Choose this place to stay so I could set up office while my kids spent time with their old nanny. Space worked perfectly for my needs although dust and dander were concerning. Host was extremely responsive, offered an early check in without requesting. The place was very spacious and charming for those who enjoy old farmhouse style.“

„We loved our stay at The Library! The apartment was clean and well-decorated. There were lots of great touches, such as mirror placement, treats for breakfast, well-stocked with things you might need but may have forgotten, and the shower was amazing. Communication was great, and the location can’t be beat! It was a great place to stay, and definitely more interesting than a hotel, and very reasonably priced.“

„The property was as advertised the remodel was finished in high end materials there were many perks included that we have not seen in other properties the experience was close to being at home. Would highly recommend this property.“

„Clean and comfortable. Host was friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful time during our visit in Quincy and would recommend this condo to anyone looking for a place to stay. We would stay here again.“

„Perfect location for our quick getaway. Short drive to downtown Hannibal. Comfortable accomodations. Well furnished. Would stay again if visiting Hannibal. “

„the house was very nicely arranged and everything was great. I usually stay at a motel for the days my daughter and I are on our MOther's day outing but staying in a house was so much more comfortable and private. I was very nervous about the booking, as I have never done this better. It went so smooth that next year I plan on staying Vrbo again for the Mother's day outing.“

„The place was really neat and the host was incredibly friendly“

„Stayed here a total of 10 nights (2 reservations) while our daughter was at Hannibal Regional Hospital recovering from complications of a surgery. We rented the upstairs unit first, (Parlor on Paris) also 2 reservations, but switched to Huck's Hideaway when we realized we would be in town several weeks. Since we were taking shifts & staying with her around the clock, it was the perfect place to relax, refuel & rest. Kitchen was very functional with a great gas stove & full size appliances. ...
