„We had a lovely stay. So impressed with the cleanliness of the establishment. Friendly staff... The only problem we had was the contact number given on our confirmation was incorrect. The last digit was wrong, and we struggled to get hold of the establishment. Also if we can make a suggestions, of having visible signage on the outside of the establishment as there is none, only once you enter the premises. This would make it a bit easier for guests who are unfamiliar with the area.“

„OK ish to stay with dogs. However the road to get to the property is terrible terrible terrible. We slipped off the Provincial sand road due to mud. However the real challenge is to get to the farm house. Not fun at all especially when wet. We won't visit again because of challenges to get to the property. Real pity. “

„Our stay was amazing. We were away from other guests which worked out really great for us. Suggestions: 1. Provide pot with a lid. 2. Provide Grater, Peeler and Can opener 3. Provide iron 4. Bug spray 5. Extra toilet paper and garbage plastic. They should specify what they do not provide as this is self catering in order for guests to bring along whatever is not provided “

„We had a marvellous time at Caracal Lodge. It was a wonderful away from it all experience. Magtree Cottage was very comfortable and well equipped even though there is no electricity, power being supplied by gas appliances, paraffin lamps and LED lighting. It was magical to wake up with views of the resident giraffe family as well as zebra, impala, horses and a pet pig! Outside there was a braai, fire pit in a lovely shaded area and a small pond. Exploring the 300 hectare game park there ...

Hosts Adri and Michael have thought of and provided everything that you might possibly need, they anticipated every need of their guests. Both Game Rangers, they were at our disposal during the entire stay and if we needed assistance or had a question it was taken care of immediately. "Wir hatten eine tolle Nacht in dem Hotel. Das Essen - besonders das Steak war sehr lecker. Unsere Kellnerin Nombulelo Mbedu war sehr aufmerksam und hat sich wundervoll um uns gekümmert. So eine Klasse Bedienung hatten wir seit Jahren nicht mehr. Das Hotel liegt nahe am Flughafen und man hört auch die Flieger, trotzdessen konnten wir gut schlafen. "
