„Even with the abundance of photos that are posted on the listing, this cabin still offered pleasant surprises and whimsy. The bird watching that you can partake in from the rear deck…what?!! A group of turkeys even paid us a visit!!!!The cabin is so well appointed…we overshopped. You truly only need to bring the food that you want to eat. „We stayed while visiting Starved Rock. Elaine was an excellent host! The house was darling and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay including:-“

„Our stay was great. There were just a few unclean areas noted. There were cobwebs on the light in the downstairs bathroom and linens left in both the washer and dryer. It was also listed as 0.5 miles from the August Hill Tasting Room. It was 2 miles from the tasting room and not walkable due to the stretch of highway with no sidewalk. Overall, it was a great place and we definitely would stay again!“
