"Die Zimmer sind klein und zweckmäßig, aber sauber und völlig ausreichend. Das Frühstück ist wie gewohnt in den USA. Waffeln, Eier, Burgerpatties, Toast, Marmelade, Bagels, Kaffee usw. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Metro in 500m Entfernung. Insgesamt eine sehr gute Alternative als Ausgangspunkt für eine Städtereise nach New York. "

"Although this is a VIP access hotel, we did not receive any VIP benefits. Rooms are tiny, there is hardly space to place a suitcase in the room. Lounge chairs at the pool have to be reserved, but staff is not able to put the reservation in the system. So we had to argue with pool staff. In the afternoon, pool is packed with day pass guests and friends. So it’s impossible to enjoy pool and nice views."

"War für uns die Perfekte Unterkunft für einen New York besuch. Man ist innerhalb von 5 Minuten an 3 unterschiedlichen U-Bahn Stationen und ist damit super an alles angebunden. Man kann auch mit der U-Bahn direkt vom Flughafen via Howard-Beach zum Hotel fahren. Die Zimmer sind für einen Städtetrip genau das richtige, das Gym ist super und auch die umgebung hat alles was man benötigt."

"We stayed at the Holiday Inn Brooklyn Downtown for 8 days. While there were positive aspects, our overall experience wasn’t good enough to return. The good: • Reception and housekeeping were great – friendly, helpful, and professional. • The mini fridge and TV worked well. • The pool looked clean and well-kept, though we didn’t use it. • The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was in good condition. The not-so-good: • The room looked very worn. The armchair, for example, was in terrible shape (photo attached). • Several power outlets didn’t work – not a dealbreaker, but annoying. • One night we were woken by loud arguing and door slamming in the hallway that lasted over an hour. Nighttime noise happened more than once. • Breakfast is served in the adjacent restaurant. While the food was fine, the manager (Rego) was unhelpful and unfriendly. We’ve reviewed the restaurant separately, but it was one of the reasons we wouldn’t come back. Despite some good service and a decent location, the combination of worn-out rooms and poor management in the restaurant left a negative impression. This hotel needs investment and leadership improvement."

"Super Hotel. Sehr modern, alles gut in Schuss. Nachdem es hieß, die Zimmer in New York wären alle so winzig, muss ich sagen es war besser als erwartet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Einzig die tägliche Zimmerreinigung hätte etwas besser sein können, aber vielleicht waren wir für amerikanische Verhältnisse zu sparsam mit dem Trinkgeld, who knows. Waren zu kurz da, um das längerfristig zu beurteilen. "
