„I read the reviews of others and here's my experience. I did not have any bad smells and my son (who is allergic to cats) did not have any allergy issues. It is obviously an older property, so it's not a modern, freshly painted environment. Things are obviously used, but the renters have done a good job making the space usable and feel "homey". „This was a perfect home for our family weekend getaway! The home has plenty of space for kids to find spots to play and hangout, we even had a spot in the loft to have an ongoing game of HeroQuest setup. The kitchen was fully equipped and we cooked all weekend with plenty of dining space for all of us. There was even a small table in the kitchen perfect for our Lego builders. „This is a beautiful little cabin, right on the river with a nice little beach. The views were wonderful. Don't let the two bad reviews scare you off, I found it to be very clean inside and the deck was nice. Would be great for a family to stay for a few days. I enjoyed having a bonfire by the river and looking at the stars. „It is an older home as indicated in the listing, but it was very clean and well maintained. The host did great communicating and helped with our unique accommodations. The home is within walking distance to the temple, downtown, and the few restaurants that are in Nauvoo. The home also had a great history and story that was hanging on the wall which really made the stay extra special knowing what role it played in the history of Nauvoo.“

„WE loved the old Victorian style home. Spaces to gather in, a large, furnished kitchen with all the comforts of home. Bathrooms were big, clean & furnished with the essentials. Decor was wonderful with the woodwork & stain glass & color scheme. Wi-Fi was available with a large TV. easy locking system.
