„We really enjoyed our stay at The Lakes by Yoo. Everything was clean and well designed and the pool and spa facilities were good. Most importantly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with our original room so they kindly upgraded us to a suite for our final night, which we weren't able to stay in as we had to leave due to a family emergency, but the gesture was greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again in the future! “

„Roy the manager went over and above to help us during the check in process. Let us check in early as our room was ready. We were upgraded to a deluxe double room. The room was clean and extremely spacious had floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and bathroom. So it felt light and airy. Lots of mod cons like a blue tooth radio and Nespresso coffee machine. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate and there was a bottle of milk and two bottles of water in the fridge. Lovely comfy bed and a great waterfall ...

„The road outside is a little noisy but the bed is incredibly comfortable. Kitchen facilities are excellent and room has WiFi and Sky TV (although the TV can't be easily seen from the bed). Shower was good - certainly hot enough, and toiletries provided were a nice touch. “

„Lovely bright and airy 2 bed apartment with balcony. Great location opposite the park with a few minute walk into Gloucester centre and quays. Very clean with good amenities apart from lacking a dishwasher .. which on this occasion was not a problem for us as we only stayed 2 nights and eat out. Easy parking in property’s own car park. Did ask about parking for an extra car but wasn’t too happy about the location or tidiness of this as looked run down with rubbish and nails etc on the ground ...

„Check in procedure was a bit unusual for me, if I’m honest. It took a couple of phone calls, emails and having to download their app. That said straightforward once you understood it. Paid offsite parking is a block away. Wouldn’t have been ideal if I’d had a suitcase to lug around. Parking and accommodation on separate invoices. I had clocked it not a hotel, but serviced boutique apartments. Location is great. Good choice of eateries close by. All said, now that I know what to expect ...
