„This house was perfect for our family of 7- all adults. There was plenty of space and the floor plan was great to allow everyone their own space as needed. We have rented many houses, condos, cabins and this was the first to have some food items on hand in case we needed it. The only thing I would suggest is to bring any plastic bowls with lids that you might need. With 7 of us, we did need them. However, Dollar General isn’t far and it is cheap. „We were so impressed with the attention to detail. We stay with VRBO atleast 1 a month and this property is one of our favorites. These owners really take the extea step to make you feel at home. All the extras were so appreciated. Especially all the coffee cups! We stayed here for a weekend while fishing Rend Lake. Loved little town of Benton. Everyrhing you need close by. We will be back! „We had a wonderful stay here, enjoying coffee in the morning on the decks with the sunrise. Quiet picturesque country location with beautiful trees and landscaping. The birdwatching was top notch and you felt completely immersed in nature the entire stay. We appreciated how clean and updated the home was along with the personal touches of snacks and bottled water being provided. Great vacation spot and we would love to come stay again. “

„Four of us stayed here for the eclipse. The place was perfect for our needs. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were a lot larger than I was expecting. The nearby trains can be a little loud, however the host was prepared with earplugs for sleeping and we all slept well. It is an easy walk to downtown and restaurants. I recommend La Fuente, or Joe's Pizza. My only suggestion would be for more comfortable chairs in the living room.“

„When we arrived, the AC was on and working well. Heat indexes were near the 100’s outside, but the house kept cool through the whole stay. The bed was comfortable, and all the appliances-stovetop and oven, washer, dryer, toaster, microwave-all worked well. The owners put some work in the landscaping, too. The flowers were gorgeous. If we ever return to the area, we’d stay here if it was available.“

„Wr had a wonderful time. The house was so spacious we could spread out and not feel like we were piled on top of each other. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and baths were clean and comfortable. We were close enough to town to walk to restaurants and shops. This is a quiet neighborhood in a small town, but we spent a day in St. Louis, only an hour or so away. And the eclipse, what a bonus!
