„My wife and I stayed for a few days and had a great time. The property was very nice and clean. It has a really nice back porch, lots of trees to keep the sun at bay, and a beautiful view of the Little Red.On our first day fishing, my wife caught a 3 1/4-pound Brown Trout. What a beautiful fish! And yes, we returned him healthy to the river.We recommend staying here if you want a nice place to enjoy your time on the river.“

„Everything was just as described. Very beautiful place and an awesome view. The screened in patio that overlooked the river was amazing! We spent alot of our time there. My daughters boyfriend proposed to her by the river as well this week so Lil Shangri-La will always hold some great memories for us. WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!“

„We would love to stay again. You really need a truck or higher vehicle (as of July 2025) because of a couple of patches of very rocky road. It worked for us as we have a Subaru. Absolutely beautiful area. Completely quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees. Great outdoor decks, grill, fire pit, and seating to enjoy. We walked to the water to swim. Inside very nice and clean. „The Middle Fork Lakehouse was an absolute delight to stay in. Check in and out was simple, house was clean and the place was so quiet. Even with three kids ranging from 8-13 the house is really built to keep outside sound out. The kids adored playing ping pong in the garage, my parents loved the deck and the stunning sunrise over the lake. The kitchen had room for all 8 of us with a dining table for 6 and two bar stools.
